I have discovered that it also happens when both BSK PDF and Responsive Lightbox & Gallery are enabled, with Orbit Fox disabled. Therefore, it seems the problem lies with Responsive Lightbox & Gallery, which has not been updated in four months. I have followed up with them, but have received no response. Thank you for being responsive.

This is also happening when both BSK PDF Manager?and?Responsive Lightbox & Gallery are both enabled. Responsive Lightbox & Gallery is the only plugin that does this. It was Last Updated:?4 months ago, please update and fix this problem.

Okay, thanks. I must’ve clicked on it for more info or something. There is no indication after clicking on the link that you’ve subscribed to anything. It ought to go to a page to confirm the subscription, imho.

Sure, here you go. At the link are a Site Health report, and two screenshots, each showing the checkboxes for the Plugins tab, with the top “select all” checkbox checked. When Orbit Fox is active, the boxes in the list do not get checked as they should. When it is inactive, they do get checked.

Yes, because the problem disappears when your plugin is deactivated. There must be some kind of conflict in the code. No other single plugin we use has the same effect when deactivated.

Geez, @foxcom, I could see this level of anger if you were paying for the plugin. But anytime you use a free plugin, you are accepting the risk.

As for us, we use it two ways, on the backend, checking the box for a particular page or post, and in the instance that is causing the problems, inserted into the footer via:

<?php echo(function_exists('encryptx'))? encryptx($content, $args) : $content; ?>

… with the $args array like so:

$args = array( 'alt_linktext' => 'office [at] website [dot] net', 'opt_linktext' => 1 );

True, that should not have been changed, it affects what people have previously set up, like on our site.

Sorry, my bad. We had a child function that used the following code, which used to work, to disguise an email address in the footer:

echo (function_exists('encryptx'))? encryptx($content, $args) : $content;

It stopped working, causing a fatal error. The encryptx function previously accepted an array for the second value, but now wants a string.

Once I removed that code, everything was fine.

Same weird formatting on a desktop.
