In reply to: [Auto Submenu] Auto delete? If you move a page to your trash, the corresponding menu item will not be deleted. However, once you empty your trash, the menu item will be deleted automatically. This is native WordPress behaviour, and is not related to this plugin (nor should it be).

In reply to: [Auto Submenu] Does it add already published children to current custom menu?Hi LValfre,
The plugin only works for new pages. It basically extends the functionality of the menu option “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu”, so that new child pages will also be added automatically.

In reply to: [Auto Submenu] Not working on 3.6Hello esgtomhodgson,
What do you mean when you say “There is no menu option coming up under each menu item”? There is not supposed to…
I can assure you that the plugin works just fine on WordPress 3.6. Please make sure that your custom menu has the “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu” setting enabled. The plugin will then do its magic whenever you publish a new child page. If the new page’s parent is placed in a custom menu, then the new page will be added to that menu too (one level below its parent).

In reply to: [Auto Submenu] How to use auto submenu with Custom post typeHello acrane,
Thanks for your message. Auto Submenu only works with pages. It simply extends the functionality of the option “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu”, so that new child pages are also automatically added.

In reply to: [Auto Submenu] Does it work with multiple custom menus? Thanks for the feedback, danhowden and oldelvet. I will update the plugin soon to allow new pages to be added automatically to more than one custom menu.
Hi Geoff,
Thanks for your message. This plugin will add a new page to your custom menu if the new page’s parent is in that custom menu. The plugin does not check at what level the parent is situated.

In reply to: [Auto Submenu] [Plugin: Auto Submenu] Scheduled pages not adding to menu.Hi Tarra,
Thanks for your message. My apologies for the late reply. I’ve investigated the issue, and automatically adding future dated child pages doesn’t work due to what appears to be a bug in the WordPress core. Future dated top-level pages don’t seem to get added to custom menus either.

In reply to: [Auto Submenu] [Plugin: Auto Submenu] Nice Idea, but Didn't Work for MeHi Keenuo,
Auto Submenu works with pages, not with categories. Also, please note that this plugin will not do anything with existing child pages. Auto Submenu will only add an item to your custom menu when a new child page is published.

In reply to: [Auto Submenu] [Plugin: Auto Submenu] Nice Idea, but Didn't Work for MeCurrently, Auto Submenu only adds new child pages to menus that have the “Automatically add new top-level pages” option enabled. That seemed logical behavior, but I apologize for not properly documenting that.
Also, please note that this plugin will not do anything with existing child pages. Auto Submenu will only add an item to your custom menu when a new child page is published.
