Hi @ssuess,
We are happy to help.
I found an old thread that mentioned the need to enable “Reference Transactions” on our paypal account. So I have asked paypal to do that first, and I will report back if that fixes this problem. Thanks!
If enabling Reference Transactions won’t fix the issue, please open a ticket with us so that we could take a look at it for you in details?
https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
When you open a ticket, please post the ticket number here so we could find it in our system and help you further there.
Thank you!

Hi @dorysp,
Thanks for contacting WooCommerce! We are happy to help.
>If users do not fill out the option line 2 for an address on the shipping/billing during checkout, the option place holder text prints on the invoice. This only happens when a client checks out using PayPal with your plugin so I’m assuming your plugin is pulling this text.
I don’t believe this is coming from the PayPal Checkout plugin.
It looks like there is a theme or plugin conflict on your site.
You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts here:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/
The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:
1. Temporarily switch your theme back to the [Twenty Seventeen Theme](https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentyseventeen/).
2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce & WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway.
3. Test to see if the issue has been resolved. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict. If it doesn’t resolve the issue, please let us know so that we can help you further.
Please note that switching to another theme will not delete data and you will be able to revert back to your original theme without any issue after testing is done. Your site will simply have a different display during the test.
Switching to a default theme and deactivating plugins is the first step in troubleshooting issues. That allows us to target the issue quickly.
If you don’t want to troubleshoot issues on the live site, you can create a staging site. If your hosting company doesn’t provide one, you can use a free plugin such as **WP Staging** to create one:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/
Please let us know how it goes once you are done with testing.
Thanks and looking forward to your reply!
Hi @mole_lr,
Happy to help with what I can here.
To find out which template is being used on each page in WooCommerce at any time, install a plugin called Query Monitor:
https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/query-monitor/
Once installed, you’ll be able to look up the template at the top bar on any page.
I hope it helps you develop the solution you are looking for.

>When trying to pay from my checkout page iwhiteboardanimations.com/checkout/ and trying to test out PayPal Checkout in sandbox mode I get this error…’Things don’t appear to be working at the moment.’ So here’s where the weird thing is happening, if I want to make the payment directly from the cart page iwhiteboardanimations.com/cart/ the test is successful and I get the order in my dashboard. Even weirder, it seems that the standard PayPal works well, but for some reason when using the PayPal Checkout I get that annoying error.
Can you please see if there are any errors in the logs?
You can enable logs as shown here:
Image Link: https://cloudup.com/cSdssmPPlkk
Once enabled, try to make a payment to see if any errors will be logged. You can access logs by navigating to
WooCommerce > Status > Logs
.Let us know how it goes.

Hi @marlene23 and @zanza321,
>Hi I am just setting up Woocommerce with Learndash. All is going well except that when the customer gets to the final payment page, they are forced to fill out the form instead of being able to just click and go straight through to Paypal.
In order to disable the checkout fields and let customers be redirected to PayPal right away, uncheck the box next to PayPal Mark field via
WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Payments > PayPal Checkout

This should do the job.

In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] 3DS 2.0Hi @baba_mmx,
>thanks for the feedback.
I changed the status to “not resolved” so that it will be open until it will be fixed. We usually don’t keep the threads open for more than a week without inactivity here. In this case, the 3DS 2.0 feature won’t be implemented for several more months. The best way to keep an eye on updates is the plugin changelog:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/#developers
I am going to mark this as
Resolved
because the question was answered and there is technically no bug involved. Thanks for understanding!Forum: Plugins

Sorry to hear about the troubles!
Our customer pointed our that on our check out page the input field on mobile and desktop does not work. It will not let any customer add any information. We have taken this off to stop us from losing sales

In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] 3DS 2.0Hi @baba_mmx,
I think I closed this thread too soon before I posted the reply we got from the developers of the WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree Payment Gateway:
Shouldn’t be much involved in changes from existing 3DS implementation. It may require us to pass more info to Braintree. Will sync up with the PayPal team. We’d likely look to tackle v2.3 in April, so we might not be done early as suggested, but will still be well before the September deadline.
I hope it clarifies things a bit and gives a piece of mind.

Is it possible to disable CSC/CVV checks for vaulted methods (methods saved to the account), but leave CSC/CVV check for new methods? Ive looked into the options but couldn’t find a combination that would help me with this. I could disable that check completely but i would like to leave it for new cards.
According to braintree docs and tests i’ve run this is possible, since vaulted methods do not require CSC/CVV check. Is there any way to accomplish this within the plugin?
It is possible to do what you are looking for indeed but will require code customization. Something that we can’t help with at the moment. There are a few things I can recommend:
1) Connect with one of the developers we are working with who will be able to work on this with you further: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/
2) Check out our advanced WooCommerce Community in Slack:
https://woocommerceslack.herokuapp.com/
There are many developers gathered in this community, including the authors of our plugins, so they are a great group to turn to for coding advice.
3) Add this idea to our **WooCommerce Ideas Board** which is where we collect future product improvements. You can add a new idea and upvote any of the existing ones:

Please let us know if you have any additional questions along the way.

In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] 3DS 2.0Hi @baba_mmx,
Thanks for contacting WooCommerce! We are happy to help.
Hi, today we received an e-mail from Braintree on which they tell us to update to 3DS 2.0 by April 2019.
There is something we have to expect from this plugin to be compliant? And if yes, there is a deadline to got it?I asked the developers of the PayPal Powered by Braintree extension to provide the answer to this thread. I will post their response here as soon as I get it. Thanks for your patience!
