Hi Paula,

I believe the site error comes because wordpress only updated last night (Aussie time) and so the support guys will need a couple of hours to fix the plug-in to the latest version of WP.

Personally, I reckon this plugin is TERRIFIC and on my other sites that haven’t as yet been updated to the latest version of WP, it works a real treat.

Hang-in there girl ?? – It’s worth the wait and I reckon these blokes will get it updated ASAP.

I had already tried just reuploading the simplepie file but that didn’t work so I reuploaded the whole wp-includes and that is what worked.

I’ve also got a very similar problem with simplepie and I asked 4 days ago but so far no one has come back with an answer. My error message reads:

Warning: main(/home/learning/public_html/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/learning/public_html/wp-includes/class-feed.php on line 4

And like you, I want to fix this problem but have no idea how??

Is there any way we can escalate a request for help in here because I’m learning WP and don’t know my way around yet?

I’m learning how to use WP the hard way ?? but this one is a problem I can’t seem to fix on my own. Can someone please advise what it means and how to fix it…I think it is related to these questions here/replies here but here is my problem in the simplepie.php script and class-feed script:

Can someone please help? Oh, and just to make the problem harder, I don’t know any html. I’m a “guess and by God” html’er…
