I am glad to see this problem being discussed here, we have numerous websites with the same problem. Non-stop daily login attempts from Italian IP’s (albacom.net). We will be implementing these suggestions and subscribing to the updates on this thread. Thanks!

I did update the NGG to the latest version, and now access to control settings has returned. Downgraded the version back to 2.0.40 because the developer of Innovation+Science 2 recommended this will work:

After following the protocol of downgrading, the dashboard shows two NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati plugins listed. Can we delete one of them w/out deleting any of the established galleries?

The theme developer also made this recommendation:
“A small change in the plugin options might be needed. In section Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects select option “No Lightbox”

So as I attempted to edit the Lightbox Effect, I encountered a blank page, https://./?page=ngg_other_options

Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated, especially if it doesn’t require down time for the site.

This is working, busy, website. We are attempting to avoid the time intensive process you described above.

Keeping sites safe by updating regularly is always the best advice.
Rolling back to a previous version was unsuccessful.

Great question, I need to use a wordpress site with a dynamic qr code capability that manages multiple facebook pages, so this would be ideal. We need to add a like button for each corresponding facebook page as well.

Similar issue here as well, all previous months, starting at December 2013 plus all previous months events are showing a blank calendar. Our client wants this to be visible on their restaurant venue, for reference. If this is not an option, is there a way to not show previous months, and to only allow current and future months to be visible (instead of just a blank calendar)?

We are experiencing the same issue for a Valentines Day Event Feb 14, is showing up as Feb 13, 2013… Any solutions would greatly appreciated.
