In reply to: [Qi] How to align and adjust banner image in PostNo, we could not get the Background Image in on the Posts pages to correctly adjust. We tried it many different ways, but everything we tried either didn’t work or had a negative effect on the other Post pages we didn’t want to change. So we just made a single gradient image for all the Post pages. It’s fine that way. We really need to focus on making the website look better on mobile, so that’s our main goal now.

In reply to: [Qi] How to align and adjust banner image in PostYou can disregard my last questions. I decided to just use a single image for every Post banner. Dealing with the featured image in the Post title banners is too prone to problems. Thanks anyway. I always appreciate the advice I receive her.

In reply to: [Qi] How to align and adjust banner image in PostI tried adjusted the positioning in the Settings, and it doubled the image for some reason….Now I don’t know how to fix it.

And I just realized that all the Post title images have been replaced with the same image I was trying to edit. I have no idea why or how to switch it back.
I would truly appreciate your help.

In reply to: [Qi] How to align and adjust banner image in PostWe still cannot figure out how to center the image on a single Post.
See how the girls’ heads are not showing when the image is in wide-desktop mode? How do we adjust that specific Post image to show as centered, instead of only the top part when in desktop mode?
We can’t crop that image to show centered because it’s the same image that gets used in the Post’s tile image.
Or is there a way to use two different images…one for the banner background and one for the Post tile image?

In reply to: [Qi] How to align and adjust banner image in PostThank you for your reply!
I found the “Qode Settings > Title Settings > Background Image” you mention, but I have already placed an image in that spot using the settings from the regular WordPress/Elementor Dashboard. Does the Qode Settings replace/override that image setting from WordPress, or is it the same thing?
Also, for “Qode Settings > Title Settings > Title color”, does that change the color for only the single Post, or all Posts?

In reply to: [Qi] How to align and adjust banner image in PostOne last questions on the Post image topic…how do we size the banner image so it looks good on mobile too?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Qi] How to align and adjust banner image in PostWe were able to center the image by clicking Elementor Single Post up top…but it messed up the alignment of the banner images on other Posts. So we tried to click Elementor Single Post for those too to fix them, but it only opens up the first Post we edited earlier in the day.
Is Elementor Single Post the only place to adjust the position of the banner images?
Also, how do we change the text color of the title over the main images in Posts? We know how to do it in other places, but when we do it on Posts, it also messes things up.

In reply to: [Qi] Thin white space above banner and header on some pagesThanks! That fixed the problem.

In reply to: [Qi] Thin white space above banner and header on some pagesHi. We pasted in the custom code into Additional CSS and it seemed to solve the issue by instantly adjusting the banner…but it wouldn’t let us Publish the change.
The message repeatedly says Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple seconds, and then try again.”
We waited a long time and tried over and over, but it’s the same thing.
In case it’s a clue, when we tried to paste your code into the Simple CSS plug in, it didn’t work at all or adjust anything instantly. It only adjusted on Additional CSS.

In reply to: [Qi] How to Change Header Banner Text on only one page?Wait, never mind, Qode. I just realized that when changing the text on the title area, it automatically changes the Template to Default. I reset it to Qi Full Width and it fixed everything. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I appreciate it.

In reply to: [Qi] How to Change Header Banner Text on only one page?Qode. What I mean is the except for the footer, the whole Take Action page no longer fills the whole screen. It has big white margins. If you can help me fix it fast I would be very appreciative. All I did was preview a title change.

In reply to: [Qi] How to Change Header Banner Text on only one page?Qode. Uh-oh. I went to the title area you mentioned, changed the text, and only hit Preview Changes. I didn’t even Publish the change. But it still messed up the banner on the page. Can you please tell me how to fix it??
Mr. Sykes, this helped us change the font color of the Title on our Events listing, but we still have a problem…
We added this:
body .em {
–accent-color: #012F5B;
–font-family: ‘Poppins’;
–font-weight: 450;
–line-height: 1.6;
}but it only changed the color of the Title, and also changed the font-family of the smaller text in the event description.
How do we change the font-family in the Title?
And how do we change the color of the event description text?
Is there a better CSS code to use instead of body .em?
Hi, Angelo.
Do you know what code we should enter in Additional CSS in order to change the text color in the entire event to either Black or White?
And what code to change the Event Title font to Poppins?
Can you please look at the screenshot? We are inspecting our site on a regular browser and can see the lines we need to change, but we don’t know how to make those changes to our website on wordpress so they are permanent. Is there a way to access the full CSS lines of code on wordpress to make changes directly to the code and save it? Or do we need to add Custom CSS? If we need to add custom CSS, how do we know what code to add?
We really appreciate your help.
