I have searched online and this problem occurs with many different themes.

And now that I see wordpress has included the menu creator without that being a theme exra.

There seems to be something with php memory and timeout limits, that create problems with larger wordpress sites. This is why I came here.

My very messy sub-site is now offline…

There was NO privacy link in the sub-site, only in the main site, so the plugin was perfect!!

This is what I mean.

On the widgets page, there is a long list of sidebars that I can open and add widgets to. There is a single one for all woocommerce pages.

My wonderful theme allows me to create new sidebars, but the woocommerce doesn’t have any links to include single woocommerce product pages in these.

Does that make any sense in regard to your reply – which I have no clue about.

I had the same problem – pages were dropping like flies..

You should write something for the docs section since it is such an easy fix..

I am not experienced in this, so want the easiest solution.

I tried the webhost control panel, but redirecting forum posts and pages don’t work (because of the ?). They sent me the link to the page with the first code above.

All I need is the correct code to put in htaccess, relative to my pages/posts, so I can use for all pages and posts.

Any idea how to apply the following to my pages/posts?

RewriteRule ^/page.php$ https://www.example.com/newname.htm? [L,R=301]

In the example above the id=13 should be replaced with the query string of the page you wish to redirect and the page.php with the name of your file prior to the query string.

so are you saying to list all the pages I want to redirect in the wp_redirect in the template file – instead of listing them in htaccess?

are pages and posts done in the exact same way?

this is an example of exactly what I want (I have about 10 redirects)

The updates I save in my sidebar are not showing online. I think this may be similar to this thread.

I always use a static page, this is how I set it up and change when necessary.

Settings -> Reading -> Front page display (click “A static Page”) – Select page name from “Front Page:”

Always works.

notes and taking care – I don’t have a clue how to do this stuff, and this is my main blog so I don’t want to destroy or loose my images, settings and sign-in information..

I am computer competent and can follow instructions easily, if someone would help by talking me thought the steps one by one… live online..
