Hi Martin,
I think I know what you mean, but this functionality is not part of the plugin, the theme must take care of this.
In your case, I think there is an error an the theme or an incompatibility to any of the plugins you have installed: When clicking the “reply link” one gets a JavaScript error “addComment is not defined” just before the complete page is reloaded.

JanHi,
The developer version of the plugin now supports comment moderation, i.e. the success overlay popup now says “Your comment has been posted and is awaiting moderation. Thank you!” in case of comment moderation is required for the posted comment.
You can get the developer version from here:
https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-ajaxify-comments.zipIf you find any bug in the new developer version please let me know and I will try to fix it.

Hi Martin,
You can try the following settings:
Comment Form Selector: #PostCommentForm
Comments Container Selector: ol.comment-list
Respond Container Selector: #RespondToPostHope this helps…
Best regards,
JanHi,
I’ve tested the plugin with the options
– An administrator must always approve the comment
– Comment author must have a previously approved comment
and the theme “Twenty Eleven 1.3”.When I submit a comment as anonymous user I get the success info popup “Your comment has been posted. Thank you!” and the new comment is shown with the note “Your comment is awaiting moderation.”.
Could you please provide more information about what exactly is not working.
Best regards,
JanHi guzmanfg,
yes, please send me the translation files. I will add them to the next release of the plugin.
Thanks,
JanThanks for your feedback. Great to hear that your problem is solved ??
Hi,
thanks for your comment. At the moment I’m working on version 0.4.0 which adds a lot of customizing options and which will hopefully be released within the next days.
After this version is released, I will try to add support for the approval workflow.Stay tuned ??
Ok, me again.
I think I found the problem: The option “Comments Container Selector:” is set to the default value “#comments” and on your page this is the headline element “4 Responses to #117 Interview with Terry Harvey web and graphic designer”.
The WP-Ajaxify-Comments plugin refreshes the content of this element after a comment has been posted and in your case refreshing the headline does not refresh the comments.
Could you please try to set the option to “#comments-list” and try it again? I think this is the option that could work in your theme. Thanks
JanHi Matt,
Thanks for your comment. Could you please turn on the debug mode (you find the option on the plugin’s settings page in the WordPress admin) and send me the debug output of the console?
Regards,
JanMark topic as resolved; please reopen this post or add a new post if this problem still exists.
