Another issue with this slider is on Windows, Explorer 8, the picture list comes up overlapping each other.

It appears to be the plugin wp-photo-text-slider-50 – it was installed last week, worked fine until yesterday afternoon when I got the white screen of death. Has anyone else used this plugin and had this problem? What’s the solution? It’s the only thing holding this site up from going live, and me getting paid!

Ok, there’s no extra spaces anywhere at the beginning or end of either wp-config or pluggable.php, or in line 881 of pluggable.php.

The only thing I see is the error messages has /home/watsonbk/public_html/wp-config.php:1 while there is no such file with a :1. Only the wp-config.php file.

deactivating plugins – all 3 that were in use and 2 that were uploaded to facilitate the transfer, no change on the error message.

Switching to TwentyEleven made no difference

Neither did updating to 3.4 or uploading the freshly downloaded wp-admin and wp-includes folders of 3.4.

Also reset the plugins, to no avail.

Any other ideas?

update, I have the inside pages working. But I still am getting the error message about the pluggable.php file when I upload the wp-config file that has the current database info. How does the config file affect the pluggable file?

yes, I have tried reviewing that page of instructions, and it did solve a few issues. But the problems I have are not among those listed. Why would the home page work, but not the others? and why would updating the database cause an error on a totally unrelated php file?

ok, I admit defeat on why the inside pages are getting the 404 error. I reimported them, started with a new menu and added the pages again, still the same error.

So two problems and so far no answers. Anyone?

The line shows up. For about 1 second. That’s it, then it disappears. Why is it disappearing????
