Hi Lone, PHP7 will be supported from next version. You can get the 1.9-beta already: https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/
Hello jezThomp, sorry for the delayed reply. Can you please if the issue persists also with our 1.9-beta? https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/
Please let me know if it does.
Hi mussy, if I understand this correctly, the problem is that
$today = date( "Ymd" );
is a formatted string, which you’re trying to compare to a numeric value of the postmeta in the meta_query –'value' => $today,
.Hi Tom, can you please try with the 1.9-beta (https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/) or wait a little for the release of 1.9?
If your issue persists after update, please use our support forum to get further help: https://wp-types.com/forums/
Hi Kerfred, thank you for the information. This should be handled in the upcoming 1.9 release. You can also try the 1.9-beta: https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/
Hello Robert Sather, I’m very sorry for the late reply.
Can you please post this to our Toolset support forum https://wp-types.com/forums/forum/support-2/ ? Unfortunately we can’t handle complex feature requests here.
Hi ZaddKeefer,
I think you would benefit greatly from exploring our plugin Views, which can help you with exactly this kind of problems (and many more) without writing PHP. It’s a paid one, but maybe you will give it a try and decide if it’s worth it.Here is some very basic information about the whole Toolset plugin suite: https://wp-types.com/home/toolset-components/
Here lot more documentation for Views: https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/#views-topics
And finally, I think this deals specifically with your problem: https://wp-types.com/documentation/user-guides/querying-and-displaying-child-posts/
I hope this helps.
Hello tazir, if Types is not present in the admin menu, any of it’s pages won’t be accessible. That’s how WordPress works, basically.
Assuming that you checked the obvious (that it’s active), you can also try manually uploading it’s files in case there was some problem during update.
If that doesn’t work, I would recommend trying the 1.9-beta version (https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/) and if even that doesn’t solve the issue, please turn for further help to our support forum https://wp-types.com/forums/, providing as many details as you can.
I hope this helps.
Hello, I’m very sorry for the late reply (to Atlanta). Can you please try with our 1.9-beta (https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/) and check if this still happens on your site?
If it does, please ask for help on our support forum (https://wp-types.com/forums/) and provide as many details as possible.
I’m sorry, but I am not aware of everything that has been happening during the 1.9 development. But the integration with WPML is an ongoing process. I assume either the issue was already reported by someone else and fixed, or you are the first and it will be fixed soon (or we’ll provide a workaround).
If you have a paid account, please definitely use our support forum – you will get the best help we can provide there. In this case you’d be probably asked for the duplicator package and someone else would debug and try to find the issue. Unfortunately we can’t do that here.
But in any case, the more information and details you can provide, the better.
Hello swinggraphics, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re aware of the issue and it will be handled in the upcoming version 1.9 (you can also try 1.9-beta https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/)
I hope this helps.

In reply to: [Toolset Types - Custom Post Types, Custom Fields and Taxonomies] Fatal errorHello, without knowing more about your server configuration, this sounds like error while downloading the plugin or some file permission issues.
Please check if the file
./embedded/types.php
is present (inside the Types plugin directory) and readable for your web server. You can also try if the problem perists with the new 1.9-beta of Types (https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/).
Please let me know how if you get any results.
Hi guys, please try our 1.9-beta (https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/) or wait a little for the 1.9 release. PHP 7 compatibility is addressed there.
Hello geenkaas,
this definitely shouldn’t happen. If you have a Toolset account, I suggest you try our 1.9-beta (https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/) and see if the issue persists (or wait a little until we release the version 1.9). This version brings many changes and it is possible that your problem gets fixed as well. Please let us know if it helps.
Hello Dominik,
I’m sorry for your trouble, but this might by caused by a number of issues (also) outside Types, for example by other plugin or some problem with database caused during the migration. It might be useful to debug the actual filter applied in get_option and find out which part of your site is causing the value to change. You can try our official support for more help: https://wp-types.com/forums/
