In reply to: [Plugin: Sidebar Widget Collapser] can’t get full sidebar backAh, I think there may be some confusion here. This plugin (the sidebar widget collapser) works with widgets on the publicly accessible side of your site, not within the admin section.
The ability to collapse or expand the links on the side of the admin pages (yours are currently collapsed) is a part of WordPress itself, so that would explain why deactivating / uninstalling this plugin will not change that.
To expand them again, you should be able to simply click on any of those arrow links, which appear immediately above the icons.

In reply to: [Plugin: Sidebar Widget Collapser] can’t get full sidebar backCan you describe the behavior you’re seeing after deactivating?
Even when active, it won’t actually remove any content, and if you deactivate it (and especially if you’ve actually deleted it), I don’t think it’s technically possible for it to still be affecting the output.

In reply to: [Plugin: Sidebar Widget Collapser] Can’t get it to workHey,
Sorry for the delayed reply. The “widget ids” referred to in the settings page are the HTML IDs of the widget elements (usually li elements) in your sidebar.
If you view the HTML source of your page, you will find that each li representing a widget will contain an “ID” attribute.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: [Plugin: iPhone / Mobile Admin] Fatal errorUnfortunately, I don’t plan to continue development of this particular plugin, and I don’t think Dan does either.
The way it’s laid out, it should be fairly easy to add modules to accommodate other mobile devices. The drawback is that it’s also pretty strongly tied to the HTML generated by the admin pages, which has significantly changed since we wrote this, and is about to change again in a huge way with version 2.7.
I suggest trying out wphone: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wphone/
I’m not sure if these guys have plans to address the 2.7 changes either, but they might.
