SOLVED,
had some problematic entries in my options>discussion spam list.
thanx for your help!

deleted both wp-admin and wp-includes and uploaded the whole folders again, + all the unmodified files from the root folder. deleted table blacklist in database, but still not solved ;-(

You mean the kittensspamwords.php file? yes it has.
the plugin folder has 777 permissions.
I deactivated the Fahim Farook’s Blacklist plugin 1.2 and i think that solved at least the approval problem. I copied the links in his file to the wordpress comment moderation list.

I installed the kitten’s spam words plugin, but after pressing the a€?Delete comments as spama€? button, i get an internal server error (500).

The problem is still there after uploading most of the WP-files again.
I can easily post comments with words that are in the wordpress comment moderation list.
Comments with urls from the blacklist plugin get on hold to be approved, but sometimes the email that is send just informs me that i received a new comment.
Whilst the emails which i receive after I place a comment with words from the comment moderation list, tell me to approve the comment ( but it’s up allready..?)
I start to think that there’s maybe a problem with my blacklist plugin.

problem solved by uploading wp_admin and wp_includes folders again.
but, if anyone has an idea of what might have cause this, i’d be happy to hear it.

I use Fahim Farook’s Blacklist plugin 1.2 allready.
I’m using WP 1.2.
Somehow the comments that are “awaiting moderation” get published immediately allready.

I think this must be the uri to use.
you can upload pictures without password because you make the folder writeable bij changing the CHMOD settings.

Check the permissions, I found out in my case that the /home/jarranl/public_html/wp-content was not the folder I made writeble, as i wanted my files in another folder.

Oops, found it..
was expecting it to be more difficult.. ??
