Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.
It sounds like the login template that has been overridden in the theme is outdated and could be missing recent improvements and bug fixes.
Please try renaming the theme/paid-memberships-pro/pages/login.php file to something else (_login.php will do) – run a test login and see if the issue persists as this will ensure that the core Paid Memberships Pro login template is loaded.
If this works, you can copy the latest login.php template from https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/blob/dev/shortcodes/pmpro_login.php and apply any of the changes you may have previously had to the updated template.

Please consider reviewing the logic in your custom template to ensure that it only shows ‘Paid’ orders by ensuring that when querying the

Please advise which plugin you are using to connect Paid Memberships Pro to Learnpress so that I can advise accordingly?
As payments are handled in Woo, I can’t say how they handle a failed payment and if a cancellation is effective immediately or only after a certain amount of retries, it would be better to reach out to YITH to confirm that.

When a member checks out, a user account and token order is created to ensure that we can track the user when they return from the gateway and can mark them as paid, and assign them a membership level.
Turning off this functionality is not possible as an order is required to be present for successful payments to mark the order as paid.

We redirect members to the Paystack Checkout page, and Paystack manages which payment methods are shown on that page.
Some payment methods may not be available for recurring membership levels, however we recommend reaching out to Paystack support for further assistance with this, and to see why that payment method isn’t showing up on the Paystack checkout page.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I’ve tested this and have been able to replicate this behavior. I’ve shared this feedback with our development team who is looking into it and will provide a fix as soon as possible.
