When you click the Manually Update Rules button the code is literally changing the access permissions on my RULES.PHP file to 0644…
Then you get the error saying to check for proper permissions. What gives?
I can set the rules.php file to 777 and as soon as you click the button it goes to 0644 and asks for permissions to edit the file with a failed result.

One extra note. We do a Find and Replace after moving the site for the old domain before testing the menus.
Even once the domain values are replaced with the Find and Replace, the menus are still broken until we import the settings.

In reply to: [Page Builder Gutenberg Blocks – CoBlocks] Layout Features Not working rightAdding to this…
You also cannot drop in a “heading” into another element like a “classic” site element. Unfortunately, the ‘classic’ element is the only thing you offer that truly goes full-width on your options.
So interchanging the elements to go within each other by drag and drop should be there but it isn’t. You have to recreate the element and then delete the old one.
TIME CONSUMING. This is more time consuming than the old classic WP editors. I think I prefer DIVI at this point to what we have here.
Is there a roadmap for improvements for CoBlocks that will help me determine whether I should tell clients to use this or to use a different builder? I can’t see promoting it without that roadmap.
Thank you! The new version of this plugin is working with all of our custom themes! Very well done, great support, prompt messaging, RUI is the best!
THANKS AGAIN!
Our issue ended up being with the Menu Images plugin. We were able to get an updated version that solved our problem brilliantly. RUI, you are awesome for the prompt response times and the efforts. Really good plugin, you guys should definitely go Premium with this.
Hey Rui Guerreiro! I notice you made both of these plugins. Cool! So, I feel confident you can figure it out.
We just tried the above mentioned fix, and it did not work.
I do notice that it does NOT output any HTML code for the menu images on the menu, so it isn’t a mix-up in output, it just seems to be ignoring the custom menu settings when you include the images.
We are going to try and roll back one or both of the plugins to see what we can find. Really needing a fix here, so please update us as soon as you find something on your end.
Best!
Jason
Will give it a try in a few minutes when we start a new dev session. I did figure out on the CLOSE button, it is just defaulting to WHITE, so that was an easy fix.
Thanks for the head’s up, will give this a try.
I have a screenshot for you of the menu settings that show the images already set.
Nevermind.. I just updated to the new version and I am using the import/export feature.
BUT.. For others.
Is it possible you updated your backend servers and it is affecting older versions of your plugin? If so, please tell people that in your release notes or somewhere!
I believe that my old version was not syncing license information and it was wiping the settings. Can you weigh in on that possibility?
My site is private to my clients, so I can’t share a dev site but I see other people posting about it. We need a fix.
I am pretty extremely upset about this now. My migration this morning has taken 20 minutes extra to find the settings for the plugin and re-enter them. We are having to do it on 2 different platforms, meaning the plugin is randomly loosing settings even on the server still in commission.
This is not gonna work man. How can a plugin just randomly lose its settings and be viable?
I am going to contact someone about this on the WP marketplace to remove the plugin until this is fixed. It is a 0 day major error…

In reply to: [WP Bulk Delete] Not up to ParI did get it to work, but the whole BATCH limiting did not work right for me.
My server has a set timeout feature of 60 seconds. This is a common security setting.
So, basically, the only way you can get it to work on a secured/hardened server is to setup the cron to run without a limit, and let it just hit the wall “Service Unavailable” and rerun itself over and over. Ghetto, but works.
Why WordPress developers do not program with batch in mind, knowing that a hardened server will have a proper query limit is beyond me.
Moreso, why add the feature if it doesn’t work right?
I see it everyday….

In reply to: [WP Bulk Delete] Not up to ParAdding to that, I just verified that cronjobs are active on my site and working using WP CONTROL.

In reply to: [WP Bulk Delete] Not up to ParTo add to this, my “PRO” version plugin does not even run the first cron job I schedule, no messages that it ran, no error log setup that I know of. No documentation on how to verify they worked or status messages etc..
I am feeling a bit ripped off going to the “PRO” version features that have not worked.
Looking for alternatives now. Would be great if you chimed in with some clarification/assistance.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Admin Settings Changes do not SaveNow, I can change this problem to say everything saves except for the “EMAIL DESIGN” tab. If I erase the html code and save it works, if I leave it, then it fails as a 404.
So, I think it is related to the coding window/way that the plugin is handling this portion of the process.
Doesn’t appear to be working right for up to date WordPress..
What is the problem?
