In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] PayPal Debit Credit Card ErrorsI seem to be having a similar issue than this.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed.Opening a new thread simply means the developers don’t take responsability for this issue, and it’s called redundancy.
No, it simply means your issue is different than mine, which is fixed. And you’ll do developers a favor if you document it with detail in another support thread.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but these issues simply stem from the existance of this feed deletion part
I guess it’s because url mismatch (which was my case) so either option of the two will do fine. As @purplelemur said above it will only enable/disable product sync option in the Pinterest settings.
But then again, my issue is resolved, if the fix posted above doesn’t do it for you open another thread as it may be a completely different issue despite looking the same.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed. If your issue is like mine (only one error notification) and you didn’t try to resolve it yourself (not deleting the plugin and its data) then try the last version (1.4.10) @purplelemur posted above. It seemingly fixes the issue for me, so far no inconveniences have arise. I’m still waiting for a new ingestion with added products and the last version to be officially released on WordPress to mark this issue as resolved.
If your issue is not fixed with the last version posted above, please open a new thread.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed.Hi @purplelemur ,
Last ingestion went successfully, I believe my issue is resolved. I will still keep monitoring for a few more days if no more issues appear I will mark as resolved.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed.Hey @purplelemur,
I tried it. It appears the issue has been fixed with that version, no error notification shown and the catalog on my site matches the catalog on Pinterest.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed.Hey @purplelemur
I tried it out. When I disconnected from Pinterest the feed file wasn’t deleted from my site, but I got a notification from Pinterest telling me my source got deleted, which in fact did. So only my previous feed remained on Pinterest (error notification still remained).
I picked the second option again on the onboarding process (should I pick the first one instead?) and another feed file was created, it doesn’t match my latest one or the first one.
On Pinterest side:
/wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-.xml
previous one getting synced:
/wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-6GxTl7.xml
new one with the fix:
/wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-mwDSXf.xmlSo basically no changes as in previous version with this fix. And another feed is being created.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed. Can you confirm you’re running the most recent version of the plugin (1.4.9) and the issue persists?
Yes, the issue still persists. I’m running 1.4.9.
Are both catalogs still updating? What’s the last update date for each? Could you please share a more recent screenshot?
Seems like the previous catalog stopped being updated 10 days ago, but none of my products seem to have changed and I haven’t had issues with impressions.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed.I personally haven’t got any problems on Pinterest side. But I haven’t mess with the plugin or anything, I haven’t even added or removed a product just in case it could mess something up. Both the new and old catalogs are correctly synced and no duplicates have been created AFAIK.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Pinterest For WooCommerce Feed Deletion Failed.Thank you for your reply.
I noticed that the new catalog got ingested successfully. I’m not sure if it’s creating duplicated pins for the products that were already there. I hope I’m not spamming Pinterest.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Remote sync status: Feed ingestion failed.Hello.
I followed the steps about deleting the data removal of the plugin, I was very hesitant since it could also delete my Pinterest catalog data.
Thankfully it didn’t and the last ingestion went successfully. Thank you for your guidance.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Remote sync status: Feed ingestion failed.Wouldn’t that delete my current catalog data and engagement? I don’t want to lose that considering it’s not an error on my part.
After adding the deleted feed, the error code is gone but now I get an alert instead.
And despite that my catalog is still getting update and product pins are displaying correctly.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Remote sync status: Feed ingestion failed.Well, replying to myself. The product feed didn’t overwrite itself despite the filename being different so that’s a relief.
I’m still getting the previous error tho, so I guess I should just wait till tomorrow.
I’m gonna try adding my old catalog like I intended to do in the first place to see if that actually solves something.
Also here, my system status

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Remote sync status: Feed ingestion failed.- I’m pretty sure they have the same configuration, I didn’t tweak any of the settings.
- The new products do not contain errors, just the usual Alerts I always get. (that’s the error I got after deleting my old feed)
3. How do I do that? There’s no option to trigger a manual feed update. I tried turning on and off product sync but that apparently created another catalog feed file. Would that remove my current catalog data?
One thing I noticed is that my current products are still being updated. and they are somewhat still displayed on Pinterest (including the new ones). Is it a false positive? Or is it using my old feed? That wouldn’t explain why the new products are showing up. Maybe a display issue on Pinterest? I remember back then that I also tried to delete the old catalog when I just installed the official plugin but it wouldn’t let me for some reason, now with the new UI it let me but now it triggered that error.
I’m still waiting for my Product feed to be configured on Pinterest so let’s see if option 3 actually fixes the issue. If there was an issue to being with, since my new products still show up in my pinterest catalog and I was able to create shopping ads using it.
has this feature been added? It’s marked as resolved
