Isn’t there an easy stp-by-step guide to disable hreflang tags in polylang? The usual method (written above) doens’t work.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Polylang] Have different languages in subdirectory and in different domainActually, turns out i can’t manage to disable hreflang tags with that filter, polylang just ignores it somehow.
Advice would be appreciated, I skimmed the polylang filters documentation and it requires a non-negligible degree of technical proficiency…
Just how to disable all hreflangs polylang throws in?
Thanks.- This reply was modified 4 years, 2 months ago by jasurdeury.

In reply to: [Polylang] Have different languages in subdirectory and in different domainI’ve solved the disabling of hreflang tags by searching in this support section, so I’ve done this:
– created a child theme
– added this line at the end of the funtions.php file:remove_filter( 'pll_rel_hreflang_attributes', 'filter_pll_rel_hreflang_attributes', 10, 1 );
I’ve then installed the HREFLANG Tags Lite plugin, to make it easier to managed hreflang tags for every page and post.

In reply to: [Polylang] x-default tag is inserted on both languages. Is it an error?Upon deeper inspection, the problem was caused by an apparently unrelated plugin and it wasn’t because of Polylang.
I’m sorry for the confusion!

In reply to: [Polylang] Have different languages in subdirectory and in different domainThank you very much for your answer.
Is there also a way to disable hreflang tags gennerated with polylang? I ask because i would like to use another plugin to control those more granularly, but I fear it would conflict with Polylang generated hreflang tags.
How can I disable hreflang tags with polylang?

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang and divi Theme builderI think the only way with divi is to insert the footer manually in all DE pages using global blocks (the green blocks), so you don’t have to edit it in every page after inserting.
Then, you do the same with all EN pages.
It’s a pain with blog posts, but I didn’t find a better solution for now, Divi does not actually recognize polylang languages.
Awesome! I totally missed the module added between the other Divi modules!
Maybe you could consider adding this info in the documentation (assuming I did not miss that too) ?
Thank you very much!

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter] divi woocommerce yithHello, do you have any plan to make the theme compatible with Divi in the future?
Thanks.Hello, thank you for your answer.
The solution was simple: the problem was that I’m using a multilingual plugin. I just needed to choose the relevant languange, in the top bar inside the wordpress admin, before going to the ordering wizard.I’ve found the same advice in your documentation:
https://www.echoknowledgebase.com/documentation/wpml-main-page-issues/So you can consider this solved.
Again, thank you for your answer anyway.Forum: Plugins
