Try opening it in WordPad instead. Go to the file and right click on it, choose open with , then choose either notepad or wordpad to open it. Then you can edit it. I use EditPlus myself to edit php pages so im not sure which will work for you WordPad or NotePad, since you said Notepad made it gibberish

Theres no code for Wp you just go to your admin control panel and click on Options then click write and write your article you want to appear on the front page. Thats it!

You dont know what your server settings are so you can install WordPress on your site?? You will have to have these settings in order to setup WordPress…. atleast your database settings.

I LOVE the picture and how the background is fixed so that the content scrolls. I like the colors you have chosen as well. I always tell myself NOT to look at others themes on here as it only makes me want to change mine, lol.

I really like your website. Its very original. When I clicked on your music link it wouldnt let me view that page, it said i needed a password, lol. Also I noticed on your Fantasy Football page that theres a game coming up between Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Since I live in Tn I say GO TENNESSEE TITANS!! lol

I like how well you got your photo gallery to match the site. That is what im currently working on. Trying to find a gallery script that will blend in with my site.

I also like how your header loads a different header image each time the index page is loaded. Your post title, is that done with Image Headlines? All in all its a simple site that loaded easily and looks good with me on dialup and viewing it in IE v6.0. =)

Try inserting your code after the php header string. Whats the address to your website? What file are you trying to insert the code in? In your index or header file?

Failed to open usually means that the file is missing

Look in your /public_html/blog/wp-includes folder for the
wp-db.php to make sure its there.

no never had quick lol sounds yuckie though ….. i added a theme switcher to my index page and i have the BLUE version working now , for those who didnt like the pepto pink lol

i want to ask the author if he cares if i release the different colors or if he will…. save someone a bit of time if they wanted that theme in a different color …. i posted on his site but so far he hasnt replied back…..

Wow! Way cool theme. I love dark colors. Especially black. And i love the way its layed out. Alot different. Good job. Im using IE and dont see any problems. =)
