@damyan if you are already using a plugin that lets you do it, it’s a question of simply tying get_current_user_id() with the submission and should theoretically be a simple modification of that plugin you are using.

There is nothing PeepSo-specific that needs to be done here, unless you want for example to show a list of all posts submitted by a given user in their profile – then it would require writing a custom PeepSo plugin.

This plugin creates a PeepSo stream item only when you publish a new blogpost. Doesn’t really deal with videos and such.

try disabling “Let the users decide” in the backend, I’m not sure if it’s properly implemented.

If it does help, let me know, I’ll try to fix it in my spare time.

@tangol PeepSo is using Crowdin for translations and there are no plans I am aware of to ever switch over to the WordPress service

This looks like a PeepSo embed issue, perhaps sort of a plugin/css conflict or something. Nothing this particular plugin can change/fix.

To my own PeepSo localhost, it looks good. But on peepso.com it shows basically an empty rectangle. Let’s wait for 1.5.2 to be publicly available, because that’s what I’m using at the moment. We should be releasing today.

I am not going to implement any special handling of any kind of content.

The plugin simply posts a link to the original post, letting WordPress do it’s own oembed.

The only extra feature that is planned for this plugin some day is letting admin define default privacy and optionally let users override it.

I would be very interested to see PeepSo on a live site with that many users.

During activation, PeepSo is creating its own internal database records for each user. There is a high chance trying to do it for 300k users times out in the middle.

Avatars and cover’s don’t require any additional plugins to be installed/purchased.

“Request could not be verified” means the script was unable to securely verify the form contents. Usually it happens when you try to perform and operation on an expired form. usually it would mean your login cookie expired and you became logged out.

What happens when you force-refresh (Shift+F5 or CMD+Shift+R) the page?

the user profiles are being redesigned and rewritten since December and should be released soon (6-8 weeks) with much better admin control over their behavior (including sorting and deciding what’s required and what’s not).

Users aren’t required to change their passwords during a regular profile edit, make sure no pasword auto-fill is messing with the process (eg browser password manager).

Users should not be logged out automatically – unless they change their username – then the auto-logout is a default WordPress behavior when the user’s login changes.
