There is a screenshot now on the WordPress plugin page and on the plugin’s homepage.

I guess we are still looking for a solution for this issue. My blog has hundreds of comments and it wouldn’t be practical to go in and edit them individually.

I just imported from a WordPress xml file to another WordPress install (both are versions 2.8.5) and everything was brought over except the user_id for comments.

I understand the issue with mapping each user’s comments if there is no user account but attributing a user_id to the post author doesn’t seem like it should be an issue.

Looking for some moderator help.

I have the same problem and it seems to lie with the “Search Everything” plugin. When it is disabled I can search the admin with no problems.

I haven’t found an answer to solve the problem however.

I would also like to know how to limit the query to a certain number of posts – just like ‘showposts’ does in the normal query.

There are a lot of plugins available to do this. I just wrote about it and made a list of some of the best.
