It used to carry over the linked portion “Scott’s $3 billion deal” but now it doesn’t press it so I have to use the link tool in “Press This” and type the URL link.

No. Like I said now it presses pure content and I have to manually create the link in the edit post screen.

Previously though, any linked sites or articles in the original post would automatically be pressed into the post. Now I have to edit the post to create the link from the original article. Am I explaining this right?

Thanks James Huff. For example, the following content pressed by the “press This” tool on my ”SHOW FAVORITES” under the URL on my Mac OS X El Capitan web browser has the shortlink but when it is pressed, I have to manually insert the link in the LINK insert bar on the Press This Tool. This isn’t too bad if if I have several links within the content I have to manually insert each link into the LINK (chain image).

I did just now find the Press This tool.

If it’s not easy, how does a person such as myself attempt to try this without fear of making something worse? Can’t I just re-install the WP 4.3.1 download which I would think would overwrite the vulnerable files causing my problems? I don’t know, I’m just trying to ensure that I don’t make things worse. Also, where do I find the Apache Logs?

Can anyone help me resolve this issue. I have tried to get assistance with my domain host (InMotion Hosting), Gabfire Themes, and a plugin support of the last change in my plugins. Can anyone help me?

I deactivated User-Tags, no change. I deleted User-Tags, no change. I disabled all plugins, no change. Activated one plugin at a time, no change. I’m lost.

Hasn’t anyone ever had this problem before? It’s blemished my site pages and posts. Please advise. Thanks.

Having trouble attaching or copying a screen shot onto this forum screen, but if you look at the linked page (all any other post on the site) upper left corner in the red border, in light black font is the words “page contents”. Does this help?
