In reply to: Big uploads failing only on Firefox?Hi @rfischmann,
Sorry to hear that you have been facing a problem for a long time.
The issue looks strange. If the issue is only on Firefox, you have to dig into the Firefox settings. Have you tried uploading images to WordPress after disabling all add-ons and extensions? You have to try it if you don’t.
It’s recommended to raise the same question in the Mozilla community support forum. Also, I found a similar question in the Mozilla support forum. Somehow, the support thread may help you.

Hope this helps.

In reply to: 503 Error on my siteHi @kandelrashmi,
Hope you are doing great today.
WordPress is the all-time best among CMS’s. None of the other CMS can’t beat the performance level of WordPress. 503 service unavailable error could arise from issues related to any of the servers(hosting), plugins, themes, and CDN.
First, you have to make sure that the site is hosted by a reputed hosting service. Hosting sites with bad hosting providers might end in 503 errors. Then you have to check the authenticity of every plugin and theme installed on the site. Some of the outdated or badly coded plugins and themes result in 503 errors.
Looks like you are using Cloudflare CDN. You have to confirm that the CDN is configured properly with the website. It’s recommended to review each Cloudflare setting to make sure you have an ideal setup.
Let me know if you have further questions.

Muhammed JazeelHi @astroo,
I hope you are doing great today.
Embedding content might affect loading speed of pages. Let me know what type of content are you trying to embed in the page? If so, I can tell you why the page load becomes poor when embedding that specific content.
I have just done some performance tests on your site. I have one more recommendation. You can improve your page to a greater extent by optimizing images through any plugins. I am telling you this because the ‘Largest Contentful Paint’ element in your site is an unoptimized image.
Get any image optimization plugin at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/tags/optimize-images/
Hope this helps. Awaiting your response.

In reply to: Unable to Edit URL of a pageHi @circlechess,
Hope you are fine today.
It might happen due to some plugin conflict as told @threadi. But I have an assumption. Are you trying to edit the slug of the home page? The reason I ask this is that you cannot edit the slug of a page already set as the homepage. Check and verify the same at Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays.
This kind of confusion is normal when using any page-builders like Elementor.
Hope this helps and don’t hesitate to raise further questions.
Kind Regards,

In reply to: Error after installing WordPress 6.6.2HI @nich123,
Hope you are doing well.
It looks like something went wrong with updating WordPress. This might happen in some odd cases. As you know, ‘wp-includes’ is the folder in WordPress that stores core files. ‘Uncaught Error: Failed opening required’ implies that some files required to run WordPress smoothly are missing. If we look at the error, we can understand that some files related to the block editor are missing. Let me provide some recommendations to solve this issue.
Downgrading the WordPress version is best in situations like this. You can do it through Softaculous if you are using C Panel. Also, you can consider restoring the most recent backup if you have any.

Try updating again to the latest version of WordPress.
Let me know how it goes.

In reply to: wp 6.6.1 says I am offlineI’m glad to know you achieved it. I will briefly explain the difference between a WordPress Address (URL) and a Site Address (URL). It might sound like both are the same, but they’re not.
WordPress Address (URL) is the location of your core WordPress files. In your case, the file is installed on your root. Sometimes people may prefer a subfolder to install WordPress. Site Address (URL) is the site’s public URL, which visitors use to access the website. So, it’s best to change the ‘Site Address’ too to ‘https’. Otherwise, the visitors might go to the unsecured version (HTTP) of your website. It will create a mess in the whole website setup.
Hope you got it. Let me know if you need any further help.

In reply to: wp 6.6.1 says I am offlineI am sorry to hear you are having this issue.
It says, “I am probably offline” and simply won’t work.
It looks like you installed a new SSL certificate two weeks back. Most probably that’s causing the issue. Let’s try a simple fix. I will guide you on what have to do.
At first, you have to log in to the WordPress Dashboard. Then access Settings > General. You can see the ‘WordPress Address (URL)’ and ‘Site Address (URL)’ options on the General Settings Page. I am assuming that the site URL you gave there starts with ‘http’. You have to change it to ‘https’. If you have implemented what I have said correctly, you can see how your final output will be if you look at the screenshot given below.
Let me know how it goes. Awaiting your response if you need any further help.

In reply to: Admins randomly become subscriberHi @overdriver,
Hope you doing well today.
Some of my admins automatically turned into subscribers.
It’s an odd issue. Are you sure that your website is not infected with any kind of malware? I am recommending you to scan the website by installing any of Defender Security or Wordfence. So, you can find out whether it’s causing due to any infection.
If the issue persists, you have to investigate among the plugins you installed. Especially if you are using any plugins to manage user roles. Consider deactivating all of the plugins and activating them one by one.
Also, try optimizing the database by installing plugins like WP Optimize. Hope any of these recommendations can sort out your issue. Always remember to take a backup before moving forward with these recommendations.
I am awaiting your response. Don’t hesitate to rise further questions.

In reply to: Menu on mobile will result in blank pageHi again @cholek,
Hope you are doing well today.
Unfortunately non of this worked.
The mobile menu is now working fine on my end, with white text on a black background. You may be getting a cached version of the page. Try again by clearing your browser cache.
Let me know if you want any further assistance.

In reply to: What’s the latest correct way to override them/plugin CSS?Hi again?@2dawgs ,
There is a way to access the ‘Customize’ option inside block-based themes like Twenty Twenty-Four. Block-based themes also have a ‘Customize’ option. But WordPress hid it in the front end. You can access it by including ‘customize.php’ at the end of your WordPress dashboard URL.
Example: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/customize.php
Just replace your domain on the ‘youdomain.com’ part. You can see ‘Additional CSS’ option inside the customize screen. So, we can avoid using a plugin for inserting Custom CSS code.
