    Hi heirani1,

yeah, elements for generic text, headings and even raw HTML code are already on my to-do list. Without these there is, indeed, no way to group checkboxes together. I’d like to ask you for a little bit of patience until the next update that should be out in a week or so.

Also, I’m looking for a way to show/hide elements or sections depending on previous selections or evaluations. I think that would somehow match your need to show sub-options only if a certain checkbox is checked. That will be available soon, too.

There’s been a bug in v0.9.1 that messed up number precision. It should be Ok in v0.9.2. Please tell me if I’m missing something.

    Hi admemo,

over the time several reports of this problem have reached me. Possible causes are:

    1) Name conflict
My choice of the class name “Options” has been very unfortunate, because it is likely to conflict with another plugin that uses the same class name. If this is what is happening disabling all other plugins would fix the problem.

    2) Incomplete WordPress update
If you don’t follow the correct WordPress updating process the outcome can become unpredictable. I know of one user that has not deleted wp-admin and wp-include folders before refreshing all files to the most recent versions. Surprisingly she got the error you have mentioned as a consequence of that.

    3) Are you sure you are using PHP 5.2 or later? Earlier WordPress versions did support PHP4, but my plugin did not.

By the way, it’s been a while now since I published price-calc. I’m currently working on a new, completely refurbished successor called Jazzy Forms. Its configuration will be less of a pain.

No, sorry. That’s one of the most requested features I have in my to-do list. Unfortunately it’s not available yet. After a very long time of inactivity I’m currently working on a complete rework of this software, with an emphasis on GUI improvements on the back-end. I’ll keep you informed.

Ok, it seems the issue is already solved as Ticket #17308. Thanks for your quick reply, esmi.

esmi I’m afraid you’re wrong. A permalink structure of /posts/%postname% prepends posts/ to all post links, but it should leave the tag links unchanged. That’s what’s the “tag base” field is for.

Fortunately my problem is solved. I’ve found that if you leave the “category base” field empty, the buggy behavior described in my original post (https://www.mypage.com/posts/tags/tag1) appears. However if you set the “category base” field to some dummy value like category, everything is fine! (https://www.mypage.com/tags/tag1)

I think I’ll file a bug report for that.

zwillis, is your site up somewhere? There is a good chance I can debug that from my browser. Feel free to use the email address I’ve mentioned above.

    Hi Rex,

I’m glad I could help you with your issue via Email. If there’s any more issues or doubts about my software don’t hesitate to contact me in this forum or via Email at “price hyphen calc at thickthumb dot com”.

That goes out to the other users around, too, of course. I know right now the configuration is not always straight forward.

    Regards,
    Igor

Thanks for your kind words, Ameise! I’m glad you find my software useful. Thank you for your bug report, too. Ozh was so kind to give me a hand personally with this issue. Amazing guy! The bug fix goes into the next release.

    Hi Miruru,
I guess https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/play-button/ is what you are searching for. If you still need these listen buttons, this plugin does pretty much what you would expect.
    Greets,

You might want to give WP e-commerce a try. Its commercial “Gold” version claims to have Protx support. I haven’t tried this particular feature.
