Morning Adi, Yes ive already been through this folder and the plugin does not seem to be there, i have even ran a search for the plugin and that still came back negative yet WordPress still says its there.

Afternoon all, just a bit of an update to this topic. Im currently with the hosting provider Fasthosts. I contacted them regarding the issue im still getting with plugins deleting themselves.

After more of an indepth look into it. Whenever i update a plugin or theme, i get the “website is currently undergoing maintenance” then that soon goes to “this website is experiencing issues” and i get a link to go into recovery mode.

After logging into recovery majority of the plugins i use e.g Elementor, Form Ninja, All in One SEO. WordPress says that there is an error with these plugins and they need to be reinstalled. When i click reinstall WordPress shows that it cannot be installed as it already is installed. The only fix for this issue is to log into my FTP and to delete the plugins which are corrupted and then reinstall them.

As any user of Elementor can imagine, if someone has pages set up with that plugin and has issues with it or is deleted all the pages look like it was made in notepad.

My hosting provider said a few weeks ago said its a capacity issue and recommended i upgrade my services which i didn’t really believe so i declined. Shortly after my website really messed up which i had to basically delete it and start again, still got the same issues though so i’m really glad i didn’t upgrade. After ringing them again they said my name servers are with Cloudflare its their problem not theirs.

So i’m really stuck on who can help with this issue.

fixed it! (hopefully) I had a plugin installed which I never had any issue with previously called “autoptimise” Just uninstalled that and images are correctly loading again.

Hi Mrtom, I have no idea what that is. All my media is uploaded from the work PC and kept in the wordpress media centre, so not sure what’s going on with the URL you supplied is or where its come from.

Also when checking the plugins while in troubleshooting mode im always getting an error.

“When enabling the plugin, elementor, a site failure occurred. Because of this the change was automatically reverted.”

Doing the health check didn’t really do anything. Disabling all the plugins through the troubleshooting send me to a blank page when checking it. But the odd thing I did notice, when I renabled the plugins an old widget I removed a while back suddenly reappeared and while in the “customise” section of my front page all images worked correctly.

Hi, ive tried all sorts to rectify this issue.

I have cleared cache (numerous occasions)
Set the correct image in the social meta part of the All in One SEO plugin
Tried other plugins to force the correct image to show
I also gone into the FTP for my site and removed the “default-user-image” and replaced it with my own .png i want to use.

Im still stuck at a roadblock with this.

Thank you for your reply. Ive got half way there, ive set featured images for other pages which work fine all except the front page which is still showing the profile image. Ive since disabled All in one SEO pack but i dont know if theres another way to change that image.
