No sidebar.php in this template. And, I checked the index.php and category.php… nada. I’ll add the code you gave me to the index.php file and see what happens.

I think it’s a good suggestion.

I don’t mind the work in experimenting/changing/dissecting… it helps me learn what things do – (just like taking apart my radio when I was little :). But, it would be helpful just having side-by-side stylesheets to compare and dissect and pull apart.

Orangeguru… thanks for the organization comments, especially for the CSS. I spent a few hours just looking through a stylesheet from one of the templates this weekend. And, though I understand ‘why’ the author organized it like that – in some ways, it made sense – it was nevertheless extremely difficult to manuever through. I had to look at 4 different sections in order to figure out the final structure of the page and how I could change it for what I needed.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who had difficulties. I felt a lot like jewelwg did… I thought it was just me! ??

Nevermind! I figured out line 3 in ‘index.php’ which states:
require(‘./wp-blog-header.php’);

needed to read:
require(‘./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php’);

Seems to work now. btw… Nice layout, Sadish! I’m looking forward to working with it. ??

I was testing out GreenTrack on my site. Can anyone tell me why I get this:

Warning: main(./wp-blog-header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/GreenTrack/index.php on line 3

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php’) in /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/GreenTrack/index.php on line 3

Can anyone help me on this? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

I’m also looking to do that same thing: Different Templates for each category, and have the same concern that Westpointer made: How would I handle this if I made my categories into permalinks? (which I did).

Great! I do have a good amount of posts to copy over. But, I’m looking forward to doing it, so I can categorize and archive them properly.
