Just had this same issue. Fencer04’s fix of removing and re-adding a featured product worked.

Hi DNutbourne, this resolved my issue! I know this was step 4 of the FAQ, however I didn’t realize this was related to loopback. I run my own server and have not disabled loopback, so I didn’t believe this applied (as the article referenced web hosting providers).

Hi Synved, yes, these are very large images (20+ MP). It’s my wife’s site and I was trying to make it easy for her as she can take a photo and upload it without worrying about resizing it first (let WordPress handle this).

As an aside, what would you recommend as maximum dimensions for uploaded images? I was thinking 1200 wide, but read other sources that say due to retna use 1950. Seems like FB opengraph likes 1200 best.

Resized the image and it now works! Is there a way to set the image file that gets sent to Pinterest to be the “large” version of the resized images that WP already creates on upload?
