Eureka!!!!!! OMG! I had one sticky a page 4 I did not check and just unstickied it now.

So if I want to sticky something will this happen again, or is there a way to bring a published post to the top of the page and not have to sticky it???

Erm.. How many stickies have you got? Test Post is appearing about 3/4 of the way down the front page…

I have about 20 stickies. This has been happening for more than 3 weeks. The first week I tried to fix it myself and gave-up.

I have had 8 different people check my blog today and none of them can see the Test Post!

You can see it because you have the link, but it’s NOT published to my blog.

I had a friend check it out from her computer and see doesn’t see the Test Post either. So I know this is still a problem.

I tried Mozilla, Foxfire and IE and I still can’t publish posts.
and I also used three different PC’s

try reinstalling WP via admin panel.

That’s possible? HOW? Will I lose everything?

I’m a bit confused, because I checked the site you linked to at https://site.jkdjewelry.com/blog/ and there’s a post there from today, so it’s definitely publishing stuff.. Have you got a URL for a post that you think hasn’t been published?

No, unfortunately it’s not publishing stuff. I had to “sticky” that. I tried to publish, but it won’t publish.

Try “Repair Database”.

I cleared my history and cookies then did a repair. Then I tried to publish a new post and nothing. When I did the repair on 10/2 it did not correct the problem then either. Are we out of options?

When I open my database utilities, I don’t see “tables.”

I did a repair on my database on 10/2

My options are:
Backup Database
Repair Database
Restore Database

Is it one of these?

Since you’re currently using Twenty Ten, we need to approach the theme question a different way. Go to the Appearance section of your admin panel, select the “Install Themes” tab, search for “Coraline” and install and activate it. Then, let us know if the posts appear. If they don’t, deactivate all of your plugins and check again.

I call twenty ten because that’s the wording in the theme itself.

The status shows Published in bold.

Something just occurred to me. I did change my header on Oct 1, but I have the same theme. I have changed headers before with no problems. Could that cause a problem?

Sorry, but I don’t understand why everyone keeps asking me the same question about about my theme.

I was also send a private email calling me names and using vulgar langauge.

Do you mean deactive plug-ins and what is a default theme? Because I have tried to use another theme and deactived the plugin’s, posted a post and then re-active them one by one. Nothing, still no published post.

I tried using another theme and then went back and re-actived my current them twenty ten.
