We installed the query monitor plugin and it wasn’t all that fruitful.

Despite the fact that the page often takes upward to two minutes to load the query monitor isn’t showing any queries that are taking that long.

We’ve allocated a TON of resources to the site and now it eventually loads but as previously mentioned it takes 2+ minutes to do so.

We added the hummingbird plugin to cache the site but even with that enabled the directory pages are taking 30+ seconds to load.

Basically, the pages in the directory just seem to lag for 2 minutes then the page suddenly loads. I should add that when we’re logged in the load time is even slower.

When we disable the business directory plugin everything loads really quickly.

Do you know of anything else we can try?

As previously mentioned, we’ve tried deactivating every other plugin. When we reactivate one by one it’s the directory plugin that slows things down every time.

This is the result with both the elementor theme we’re using AND the2021 built-in WordPress theme.

We’ve also tried everything in the link you attached.

We aren’t using any custom PHP or anything like that.

Any other suggestions would be most welcome. This is the only issue that is keeping us from launching our client’s site at the moment.
