I wasn’t seeing nay settings as the error was blocking them? On the wordsocial settings page i was just seeing the error and nothing else.

I deactivated and reactivated the plugin and the settings came back – so I’ve now signed in with facebook with my new password. many thanks.

sorry to bump this post but feels relevant as I need to re-ask rrosen’s question – how do i revoke access to facebook and sign-in again?

I changed my facebook pasword which has invalidated my token.

Cant see where to create a new one within WP?

I had the same issue – instead of trying to change WP-XML sitemaps I verified my site without www in Google WM Tools then it will accept the sitemap.

Even better, in Feedburner under socialise tab you can connect your twitter account to tweet your posts.

Simple but awesome.

In case anyone is interestd I used 301 redirects to divert search enginess, users and Page Rank to relevant pages.

1. Search for yourolddomain.com in google and identify pages with high Pr, importance or traffic.

2. Use cpanel or .htaccess to redirect to relevenat pages on https://www.newdomain.com

Ps the root domain Page rank seems unaffected by the move into wordpress CMS and I backed-up then deleted all the old dreamweaver pages from the root folder.

I’ve got to add that even twitter tools is now a pain to set up as it doesn’t use OAuth.

Maybe its better using an outside service to take your wordpress feed and post to your twitter account, twitterfeed.com is good.

It was a really useful plugin, yes you can use the twitter tools plugin, and it has more features like adding custom hash tags, but this one just got on with it quietly in the background.

I’m sure you have this sorted now as the post is so old, but for anyone else who’s moving feeds about and wants flexibility with their feeds you should use feedburner from google.

Once you’ve burned a feed it gives you a single feed url for all your rss items, when you move your blog you simply chnage the url feed in feedbuner and it changes the source of the feed but not your feedburner feed url which remains constant – meaning you never lose subscribers when you change the source url.
