Haven’t checked out the BPS theme choosers…just left it default. It’s not a big deal to me what it looks like.

https://www.ait-pro.com/ hasn’t joined the herds but def. lots of information to be found there. Ultimately people go to sites to get information.

Good to know I’m not alone. It works, just not conveniently. Looks nice. I just worked on some CSS to make my theme’s boring native commenting system look a little better.

I have been to your website and noticed the forums. I will create an account there to join the group. I’ve visited it as a visitor on different occasions.

Well, sort of. That login to my website within the DISQUS commenting system was there because I had activated a DISCUS API – Single Sign On by adding the API keys in the DISQUS configuration in my website.

This allows users to log in via the website and have a connection with DISQUS.

Anyhow, the first solution was to remove this so that that login would not appear there (which would push people to the error).

Secondly I had to deal with the login page, which I haven’t done so entirely.

I have since deleted DISQUS anyway because it doesn’t integrate well with BuddyPress.

With BuddyPress, people who log in can comment in the activity stream, on the blog, in the forums, and it’s all integrated, without having to log in anywhere else.

With DISQUS, even if logged in to the website, the person would need to choose how to leave a comment via DISQUS, prompting another obstacle.

My current login form still has two, with one being forced to hide, I predict it is a custom login page plugin I have.

Either way, the website is currently functioning smoothly.

I also deleted some superfluous code fromt the header template.

This was being caused by a separate code I had. The code was to not allow subscribers into admin area of site. Somehow voting on a video triggered the redirect which was to open to home page. It so happened that it would open home page within element.

Unrelated to plugin however.

Okay, so I tried saving a larger pic, and resaved, and didn’t solve the problem.

I also tried to save a smaller pic for website favicon, didn’t work.

I also tried to delete the uploaded favicons I had uploaded to the root folder for the 404 problem, and took those out to see if those were causing some sort of conflict. It didn’t work.

It’s really strange how it will work on pages and not posts.

Could there be some conditional somewhere making this happen?

I also rechecked the favicon status checker link you sent. Seemed to be working fine.

So it is a Chrome issue? Interesting… I just thought for a long time that it was just me or a bug in my chrome.

These are the file names that the bots were looking for and that I uploaded to the root of the wordpress install.

Hello @harish, thanks for the quick response.

It has actually been happening for a while…I have just been lazy to come on to the support threads to see if anyone else was experiencing this.

I have been reluctant to deactivate the plugin because I enjoy its functionality and it has worked well.

I know I can begin deactivating plugins, etc. to see if there is a conflict, but wanted to see if you or anyone could point me in a certain direction first.
