In reply to: [Preference Lite] Spacing Under Banner and PostingsCalvin,
I was playing around with everything over the weekend, and I think I finally got it where I want it. I was just adding different coding using one of the css plugins. All the spacing issues seem to be looking good. I even figured out how to get my logo to the left of the title and subtitle. So I think I can now close this topic. The only other issue I have now, is the mobile version. When looking on my cellphone vertically the loge and title do now wrap around. Its acting as it is looking at the page horizontally. when I turn my phone horizontal, it all looks good. I guess I can’t have everything my way. haha. You think that is an easy fix?
Thanks ??

In reply to: [Preference Lite] Spacing Under Banner and PostingsCalvin,
The issue now is the spacing under the picture on the About Us page and the Chili Team page.
For example, if add this code to the Title line of that page.
<center><h1 style=”margin-top:-30px”>About Us</h1></center>It will reduce the space on this page, but going back to the front page, it will mess up the menu bar on certain browsers, and it will mess up the mobile version of the page. It will shift things up. Then in the mobile section, the titles do not line up in the boxes. I guess those lines are reading the code also. Is there a way to just make the code read on the individual pages only, or am I out of luck. ??
I was able to make the spacing smaller under the Welcome/Title by using the same code above, just changing the px #.
Thanks for all your assistance ??

In reply to: [Preference Lite] Spacing Under Banner and PostingsCalvin,
I was able to reduce the spacing above the Title and under the picture by using the code below. That seemed to have done the trick.
<center><h1 style=”margin-top:-30px”>Welcome to the Order of the Donkey</h1></center>
Now, I just have to figure out how to get the About Us page and the Chili team page to do the same. I had the same code in there, but when the page loaded, it messed up the menu bar on the front page, and it messed with the mobile view.
Are there other places to add that code, that won’t mess with the menu bar?

In reply to: [Preference Lite] Image under the header of the postYou will have to use a little for some things. Here is the code I used to get my picture in the banner section
<IMG SRC=”Link to your picture you are using” ALT=”NameOfPicture” ALIGN=TOP>

Thank you for the reply. I just downloaded the simple custom css plugin and loaded up your coding into it. I have a feeling the child theme is a bit above my knowledge for now ?? I did enter your code in there, and it made a noticeable difference. I can work with that. Is it possible to get the spacing even smaller or is that about it? I’m revering to the top part now, under the donkey and the title. The footer is perfect =) If that is it, then I’ll tell my friends, too bad and stick with it ??Thanks again for the help Calvin.

In reply to: [Preference Lite] Image under the header of the postblanca315, yes, I did. you have to use the widget feature, and add a text box to the banner section. After you do that, just use an HTML code to get your picture in there.

Is there a way to do a fresh to go back to day one? I don’t mind losing everything because we are just starting the blog. There is nothing on there as of now, we just set it up.

In reply to: Favicon.ico IssueStarupToday,
Thanks for the quick post. Here is the kicker. I did look in my root directory and there is no file .ico anywhere to be found. That is what is stumping me. Could it be hidden anywhere else?
Thanks.
