Fabio, I think we got it this time.
while I was deactivating the plugins…I could not deactivate the WP Super cache, it says there is a missing folder I tried to figured out but I could not so I followed the instruction in here to uninstall it , so technically i removed it all together and once I did that…works perfectly.

The issue re-appeared now, the weird characters are back. Any idea on the next steps to take to solve this?

I just did the changes you suggested…and tested the site on iphone, nexus, note 4 and desktop and all worked perfectly…..I am hoping it stays like that , I will be driving for the next 3 hours… I will test it again then and see how it goes.

It has been tested on nexus 5, Samsung note 4,iPhone 6 using chrome, and desktop using chrome and firebox.

The thing is it has been always arabic content ,I tell you what I did…I went to my nexus and checked it out, I got these weird characters…it was working on my desktop…one time someone mentioned that it might be a problem with my htaccess file so I went to the file manager and I saw 2 htaccess files I deleted one, keeping the older one and which has the same codes as my other site and since then it started to happen on my desktop and phones more often but sometime it works.
Is there a way to fix it by backup and reinstall maybe?

I was trying to troubleshoot by changing few files permissions from 777 to 755 which I thought we must do that and not keep any directory with 777…I ended up with different error now.

David- Here is what happened, after installing it again and of course the old version was installed I saw a note / warning whatever you called like a message saying that seamless donation has lots of new things and upgrades click here to see these changes etc…so I clicked and it took me to a page where it says also backup or data and are you ready to upgrade so I click on that button and the new version got installed…and using it now so I am all set my friend , thanks for your help – really appreciate it.

It is fresh environment.
Every time I re-install it I see the gear icon and all the field in the setting such as my email address and so on are already populated so it is a cashing issue.

Now here is the thing, never used thePhpMyAdmin.
I logged in from cpanel- but I dont see the plugin in there even…keep in mind I uninstalled it prior of me logging into cpanel- here is a link for the image.

I deleted it through FTP and I got the “The plugin seamless-donations/dgx-donate.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.” I refreshed and I made sure it is not in my FTP nor in my plugins and went and reinstalled it but it installed the old version- going nuts.

I am following your instruction but it seems it keeps installing the old one, when I remove it I check my FTP and it is not in there so it is good but it seems that I have to refresh , how do I do that?

I thought I had to change the code from dgx to seamless and that did not work so I put it back as [dgx-donate]

The warning is confusing…when it says update using the [seamless-donations]
