In reply to: [WP-Filebase Download Manager] Reset stylesheet pathAt long last, the developer seems to be back in business. This problem was solved by navigating to the plugin’s CSS editor and clicking “Update.” Glad it’s so simple. Demerits for no response from the author.

In reply to: Text editor changes Paypal codeFound a workable solution besides short codes (which totally work, but with the number of these I have to post, my functions file would get insane!):
Take out line breaks between the
<option> </option>
lines, and the<select>
tags don’t appear.Still a pain, but at least it works. Marking this topic resolved, but the bug still exists.

In reply to: Text editor changes Paypal codeI suppose that might be an okay short term solution, but what I really need to know is how to deal with the patch that supposedly exists on Trac? Can’t find instructions anywhere as to what to do with the information on the bug report. Because this is definitely a bug that needs fixing!!

In reply to: Transferring Website back and forth on local hostsDid you also move all of the WordPress files themselves?
Check out https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Moving_WordPress for all of the details on how to move your site in various scenarios.
Though, honestly, it might be easier for you to find some development space online as an intermediary between your localhost work and going live to the client. My standard practice is to use an unlisted subdomain on the client’s site – example, dev.clientsite.com.
Or you could set one computer or the other up as a webserver and serve the site from there. But that sounds hard. ??

In reply to: Hide a widget when a post has multiple categoriesWhat I’m looking for is code to do this:
IF this is a single post page
AND post has multiple categories
THEN don’t show any widgetsI don’t know if I need to add that to the Display Widgets plugin, to the Widget Logic Plugin, or to my sidebar in general. And I don’t know how to write that particular function.
Help?

In reply to: [Meet My Team] Link to individual entry? If you can’t solve my issue, then the topic isn’t “resolved.” Thanks for getting back to me, but I won’t be able to use this plugin without this functionality. Please don’t mark this topic resolved again unless you actually add the ability to link to an individual entry.

In reply to: [Meet My Team] How/Where to Add FieldsI put all of that into the “bio” box since there doesn’t seem to be a way to add fields.

In reply to: [Ridizain] Set standard Featured Image sizeSorry, Zulf, your post is too late and actually completely unhelpful. See the simple solution I found in my post above. I do appreciate your attempts, but your explanations make things much more complicated than they need to be.
