Since you have decided to implement the “untagged” option, then all I am missing really is the ability for the user to add tags on a per photo basis. The filtering is well taken care of in shortcodes with the “tags” or “multitags option”.

The superview mode, unless I missed a setting, only allows me to select and album and thumnails/slideshow, I could not see filtering capabilities. But a DropDown list of all know tags would allow enforcing that users do not not multiply the tags uselessly.

Might I add, this is a beautiful piece of software you guys have written.

You probably have your hands full with this kind of support, so before asking you enhancing the widget with an “untagged” whether they are part of my solution or not. That would be they only way one can make sure all the photos are tags.

My solution, (that may be attained throught other means than tags), involves users being able to add to a photo information that they can in turn use for filtering.

I am still reading and investigating whether custom data fields or descriptions can be used for this. Is there a filter on another field than tags where the user can both 1) modify or add to in the widget 2) use in the widget for filtering? (Please note “in the widget”)?

Thank you Jacob. It turns out that the part of wppa that actually does the import did not recognize files with an uppercase extension (JPG). My camera generated those uppercase extensions. I renamed everything to *.jpg, and files imported fine. This is a bit of a discrepency, since it did show the JPG files as available in the import window.

Hopefuly I was the last user who wasted 3 hours on this problem.
