What does your Post edit screen show as the permalink to your posts – should be listed right below the title of the post. Does it match the permalink (that is, the URL) of the page that comes up on the front end as not found?

very good advice, and i appreciate you taking the time sir. there was a time when service from godaddy was excellent, but boy has it suffered lately. i still think it is their issue, but i’m going to do what you suggest on the above and see how that works.

btw, did you resolve the issue with your godaddy site?

hey john,
i got that as well, and what i did to fix was deactivate the auto upgrade, and then install the new plugin (whatever it is you’re installing). i am not technically skilled enough to know WHY this is happening, or why that fix worked, but it let me proceed.
