In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backups Missing FilesI had this exact same problem after updating to 3.5.1. If I set it for tar gzip I get a file that’s 0kb and can’t be opened. If I set it for a regular zip file, it takes a lot longer and I end up with an empty zip folder.
If I roll back to version 3.4.5 I get a normal, usable backup.

In reply to: [Sydney] Theme update broke the home page slider textThat’s a good point – I did not try that, and I really should have. I will try updating again and make sure to clear the cache. I’ll report back with whether it worked or not.

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirects with URLs in Cyrillic not workingCan you explain a bit about what encoding the URLs does? Does it require me to change any of the Cyrillic URLs on the website, or does encoding just allow the plugin to read the existing Cyrillic URLs?
For example, this project is a redesign of an existing website. if I have URLs from the old version of the site that are in Cyrillic and I want to redirect them to pages on new site, will I be able to do that?
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Pinnacle] Google fonts in theme not up to dateThis plugin is for uploading font files. I just want access to a more complete selection of Google Fonts.
Are there any plans to update the theme so that all the current Google Fonts and styles are available?
As far as I know it was a server-side issue which has since been corrected. I’m sorry I don’t have any more detail than that.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Turn off Safe Mode warningExcellent! Thank you for your quick response.
I’m not sure. All three sites in question return a search page when you try to go to a non-existent page, but only one of them says “error 404, page not found.”
In general, should there be whitelist entries in the firewall for urls that don’t exist on my site or server?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] reCAPTCHA in tagAlmost every WordPress theme adds a bottom margin to a <p> element, which creates a vertical space between paragraphs.
Since I can’t put the reCAPTCHA in a <p> tag, it doesn’t have a matching bottom margin, and the “send” button (or whatever is below the reCAPTCHA on the form) sits directly under it, with no space in between — the spacing doesn’t match the rest of the form.
The only way I can see to add a bottom margin to the reCAPTCHA element is to either edit the theme’s CSS (not always practical), or enclose the [recaptcha] in an additional div tag with inline css (not particularly good practice) to add the bottom margin so that the reCAPTCHA element matches all the other form elements.
I wouldn’t need to do either of these things if the reCAPTCHA element could be enclosed in a <p> tag. Does that make sense?
Is there a particular reason why the plugin won’t allow the [recaptcha] to be enclosed in a <p> tag?
The 3.3 update appears to have fixed this error, for me at least.
