In reply to: My Table is out of the page….. Please HelpHey Chris,
Here’s a link to get you started:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#adding-a-gallery-or-slideshow
It’s a good starter article on how to go into your page/post, select the Add Media button, click Create Gallery, select your 3 photos and set them to display in 3 columns on the same line. The Support document is on the WordPress.COM site, so as someone running a self-hosted site (referred to as www.ads-software.com), you’ll also usually have some extra leeway not found in sites hosted on WordPress.com.
Then you can add your anchor tags so that the images open up the guesthouse links and with css you’ll be able to adjust their spacing. Hope that helps to get you started!

In reply to: My Table is out of the page….. Please HelpTable cells are for tabular data, not images. Inside each of your table cells, you have an image. Tables shouldn’t be used on websites anymore for layout, just for tabular data.
The more appropriate (and easier!) way of doing this would be to put them in a gallery, portfolio-style div or, if you’re just going to have 3 small images side by side, by aligning them in a post/page together.
Best of luck with your project!

In reply to: problem with audio player on a single postHey bob, when I loaded your page, the media player counter on the right (total time of file) said 00:00. As soon as I pressed play, it changed to show 0:45. Same thing after refreshing page. So maybe it’s just the behavior of the mediaelementjs player plugin.
There is a support forum for that plugin here.

In reply to: Twenty Thirteen – Blog Page Post shows: Category Archives: BlogPardon my 2nd paragraph above; I had 2 windows open and see you stated quite plainly you’re using the Twenty Thirteen theme.
The default color of links in Twenty Thirteen is red. Did you customize or make a child theme and change the default text color from black to white (for the comma)?
Could you share a link to your site so that folks could look at the Blog Page showing up as Category Archives? Did you get to the page you’re describing by clicking on a post’s tag or category which is called “blog”, or are you saying that you clicked on a single blog post to read and you end up on a category archives page?
When you are on a category archives page, it will read “Category Archives: category name” across the top band. The posts from that category will be listed under that, with the most recent post of that category and its title first. If you have only one post in that category, that will be the only post listed on that page.

In reply to: Twenty Thirteen – Blog Page Post shows: Category Archives: BlogIn “AUTHOR – Anthea, Blog,” are “Anthea” and “Blog” clickable links? It could be that your links’ (or visited links’) color is set to red and your text color is set to white (the comma).
What WordPress theme are you using? If it is a theme found in the repository, you should be able to find a support forum here for that theme if you can’t figure out a way to set your text and link color from your customize settings.

In reply to: I can't access dashboard anymoreI’m not sure I follow what’s going on. Are you building/starting a site fresh or was there content that was published and working before your dashboard problems?
If you have switched to a default theme like TwentyFourteen, try undoing all of your renaming of plugins and plugin directory. Deactivate all of the plugins instead of renaming them or their directory.
If you are manually adding WordPress files after upgrading to 3.9.1 and then have downgraded to 3.8.3, it sounds messy. Do you have a database backup from before this problem began and all of your changes were made? Or can you just do a fresh install of WordPress if there was no content before? It’s difficult to figure out what’s going on here.

In reply to: Make Category in Menu Non-SelectableHi, I’m sorry but it appears you are using a theme that is not in the www.ads-software.com repository, so you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We can not offer support for, nor do we have access to, external/commercial products here.
Email or query the site/developer who you got it from for your menu question. Thanks.

In reply to: Publishing post and 404 errorOkay. With Premium themes, you have to get support from the place you purchased it, template monster. They should be able to help you out. Cheers.

In reply to: Changing fontsOkay. The first thing you’ll want to do is restore the uncustomized Twenty-Fourteen theme. If the only file you re-wrote was the style.css file, you could download a fresh copy of the Twenty-Fourteen theme to your desktop and open up its style.css file, copy it and paste it into your site’s Twenty-Fourteen style.css file (replacing the one you overwrote). Alternatively, you could delete the Twenty-Fourteen theme from your themes folder and then just re-download a new copy of it to your themes folder and hit “activate,” but you may lose some settings.
At that point, you’ll have two options: either try to change your theme’s fonts via one of your plugins, OR create a child theme for Twenty-Fourteen and apply your font-family changes in the child theme’s style.css. You can learn to make a child theme here on the codex.
There is also a support forum specifically for the Twenty-Fourteen theme here, where you may find a thread that has already answered a similar question. Cheers!

In reply to: Subscribers are Posting DraftsIf you don’t want anyone to be able to subscribe and publish posts, then go to the Settings->General tab in your dashboard and uncheck the box “Anyone can register” in the Membership section. This can still allow visitors to comment on your site’s posts if you like, but should prevent users/bots from posting their own articles.
Go to the Users tab in your dashboard. Are the bots showing up as registered users?

In reply to: Changing fontsWhat theme are you using?
Some themes offer a customizable css option to change such things, while others require you to create a child theme first.
If you are using a paid theme, you should be able to get help from the theme author on their support forum. If you are using a free theme found here in the www.ads-software.com theme repository, we should be able to steer you in the right direction.
