Thanks for the review. We have been investing heavily in our QA process over the past few months and have another release coming next week. It has undergone extensive automated testing and has had a 3 week publicly available beta period. Hopefully we will start seeing the results of this effort in this release.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Map covers event location fields in Admin2.2 has a fix for this. We are releasing it either tomorrow or Monday next week. If we don’t release tomorrow, I will post an updated beta on our blog.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Bad integration with gcalendarre:
a) This is not how it should function. It should update the event. You should post a support request.
b) Blocking crawlers is the first step, but there could be other issues causing this. Perhaps a plugin conflict. Again, support should be able to help get you heading in the right direction.
Thanks for the review!

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Buyer bewareA lot misinformation here. I will clear it up.
-We tracked clicks on “buy tickets”, just an aggregate number, no identifying information. If this concerns you, update to the latest version. We no longer track this.
-We do not currently aggregate events. We simply make it easy for you to share them in your community. We are not in any way selling event details, nor do we plan to. Who would really want to buy a link to the Tuesday night judo lesson in Okeechobee?
-If one day we do decide, we will probably aggregate only references to the events, again improve sharing. It would be optional. Our calendar users mostly have public events that they are looking to promote. They see this as a feature, and we get asked about when it will be ready regularly.
-If you really hate tracking (I assume you also don’t use google analytics on your sites) then simply use the Core plugin only. What we do track-
If you install an add-on we track
-PHP/WordPress/Timely etc versions. We use this to make determinations of what to support. For instance we recently modified a feature we built to support PHP 5.2, as we see a lot of sites are still running it.
-Site URL. We could theoretically pull a list of URLs. We did this once a year or so ago. We may do it again sometime.Support in our forums, and here, looks alive and well to me…
If you can post a msg on our support forums we would be happy to help you out – https://time.ly/forums/

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Terrible Support, Even Worse BugsOur calendar is designed for people who’s events are a large part of their site. If you are just looking for a list of posts, perhaps you are using the wrong plugin. We have many thousands of sites happily using the plugin with WP 4.0. I don’t think your experience is representative of everyone as a whole, and certainly not on our forums.
Your issues sound like a theme/plugin conflict. We ask for login credentials as a service to users, as we are one of the few plugins that will fix these for users, even free ones.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Half Baked CrapI don’t think there is any respect in your comment. There will be a setting to force Posterboard tiles to a grid in our next release. It will be in the add-ons->Extended Views. It required some very careful thought to do well, for instance what happens to titles that don’t fit. Perhaps you wouldn’t mind retracting some of your negative comments and rating?
