I just wanted to report back that Gravity Forms support will not look at this issue because they feel that since the form works outside the popup that it is an issue with the popups plugin. They suggested that I choose a different popup plugin that is known to work with Gravity Forms, but I really don’t want to do that. I will attempt to debug this issue myself and see what I can find out, but from what I’ve looked at so far it’s kind of a hairy mess between all of the ajax interaction and other javascript.

The form action issue is resolved but the validation issue still persists. However, I have no idea if that is a problem with Popups or Gravity Forms. I am checking with Gravity Forms now and will let you know if the issue is on GF side or popups.

Thank you for fixing the form action bug. I will install that in my site and let you know if the validation issue still persists. If it does, I will give you the steps to reproduce.

On the page linked in the original post, I did a fresh install of Popups and Ajax mode is turned on in the form.
