Is it possible to also allow the aria-label attribute?

I found this problem too. The fields would accept div tags but not nav tags. I’m on WP version 5.8 and PHP version 7.4.22, using my own custom theme.

I came across another topic covering this issue https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/key-up-down-not-working-anymore/ in the Classic Editor plugin so I think it’s not Simple Tags that has the problem? Sorry about that, Simple Tags is so nicely integrated I always forget where it ends and WordPress itself begins, haha

Thanks for the reply. I don’t know if you looked into already it but I noticed (on accident, of course) that I can still use the arrow and tab keys to input tags, it’s just that the currently selected tag in the list isn’t highlighted. I don’t know if that makes a difference or helps you to identify the issue more easily.

I found that problem today. Turns out it’s the rss.php file (in the wp-includes folder) that needs a fix. You can find that in this topic: “rss.php problems”. Seems to have worked for me so far. ??
