Got it, thanks…I figured this out a few days ago and upgraded and re-installed fonts on all of my client sites. Thanks again!

No, just the opposite, it’s only importing the posts created in TUmblr, she originally imported from Tumblr to .com in 2010 so she has 2 years of .com posts that either are corrupted somehow or another or the Tumblr posts are corrupted and not transferring the others correctly. Even if I do it a little at a time…it seems to do the same thing.

What I find a little odd is that it’s fine on my test site…completely fine, all the posts are there and no problems at all…I even did another import from February through Now and that worked fine (that even messes with her site).

I was reading somewhere that the Tumblr posts might be post id’s that are too high (like over 2 billion) in the database but I am not very good with the mySQL at all and don’t’ know how to check or fix this. Any advice there?

Could it be a database problem? Hosting sites are different…different database size? (between my test site and her site).

I don’t believe it did…I wasn’t part of that project but when I was searching around for the problem, I saw where she had posted in the .com forum for problems, LOL. Just as an extra piece of info, when I export from WOrdpress.com and import into .org, if any posts go, it’s just the ones from 2010 and those are the tumblr posts…but, it locks up the admins.

It’s less than 1MB, I don’t think it’s appropriately exporting all of the posts because if it did it should be larger than that. It’s definitely not a size issue. She originally imported from Tumblr to WordPress.com and I think that’s where the posts are getting messed up in the XML file…but I did get it to work on my test site so I don’t understand.

Great plugin, by the way but that didn’t solve my problem. Here’s what seems to be going on now…

When I import the .sql file from my test site, it imports and changes all the settings to my test site’s url and settings (not sure if that’s normal, but it’s happened every time I do it). It redirects to my test site url/wp-admin when I try and access clients site/wp-admin and I have to use the test site login information. If I change the URL via the wp-config.php file I can access it and everything is going in the right database & file location but then I get the “submit for review” problem and media uploader problem again.

    This is driving me nuts!!!

update: The wordpress.xml file imported to my test site https://www.testsite.southtown-test.com but will NOT import to the clients site, https://www.alistedblog.com. I tried downloading the new .xml file from the test site once the posts were there and that will not upload to the clients site either…

Thank You! I had been testing on my personal blog https://www.creativitygonesouth.com and it’s still not working there even after temp. switching to the Twentyeleven Theme BUT, I have a few test blogs floating around and it’s working on all of them (same version of Genesis and WordPress and same child theme) but not the original one…so I guess it’s just me.

Do you have any ideas on why it wouldn’t be working on that site mentioned?

Thanks for the plugin by-the-way, AWESOME!

    FEE version 2.2
I’m using the Genesis Framework from Studiopress & child themes
I’ve tried in Safari, Chrome & Firefox, none of which are successful.

I can edit text and titles of the widgets and pages/posts successfully just not images.

Thanks so much for your help!!!!
