Thank you for your response. We were able to retrieve most of the lost files via our website’s backup function and in our email inbox submissions (phew!)
However, I just wanted to confirm that this “don’t delete” function should be working properly from now on? It will still remain available in the free version?
On the plugin overview page, it implies under the “note” that the free version does not have this option and that files are automatically deleted within 1-2 hours, but I still see the option available in the recent updated free version of the plugin.

Yes we are experiencing a similar issue on our site as well. Though we have the free version installed, it seems the recent update has affected both versions. I hope they are cached somewhere so that we don’t have to roll back to a previous version of our site. I feel this was a very sudden thing that happened and my client has lost some files as well.

Hello Glen,
Yes, we have WordFence and Jetpack installed. I did a WordFence scan and it didn’t pick up on anything though.
We are actually experiencing another major issue today. When we click on the link to download the submissions, it takes us to a 404 page. I did not change the plugin code at all so I’m not sure why this is happening. Has there been a recent update that may have caused this?
Was the original file path as follows? …/wp-content/uploads/wp_dndcf7_uploads/wpcf7-files/*file_name*/?
^ I think I found the issue. It seems that as of the recent update, the free version will delete the older files that are older than 1 hour. Is there any way to restore these older files if we upgrade to the pro version?

I fixed it. It was because of a recent plugin update. I have since removed the plugin (which we don’t actually use) and resolved the issue.

Thanks for your response. I looked through your screencast and it appears you clicked the “back to cart” button on the page instead of the browser’s back button. I meant this only happens when the user clicks on the back button in the browser. However, the back button on the page works fine.
Please try again, but this time click the back button on your browser and you will see what I am talking about.
Plenty of people use the back button on the browser’s interface instead of the one on the page so I think this is a nuisance.

It seems like the week view is working for us even though we don’t have pro. Not sure, but it might be working because we are using the Elementor integration widget?
Anyhow, I came across an extension for Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/limit-the-time-range-in-week-view/
Would that extension ONLY work to limit the time range in the week view or day view as well? It sounds like only the week view (but we need both).
As far as the filters go, if you can point me in the right direction then that would be helpful. I found some filters from the forums on The Events Calendar website to add to functions.php, but none of them worked for me.
