In reply to: [SMTP Mailer] WP CLI issue passing the passwordForgot to add: I don’t get any error when running the command. They execute without issue it’s just that something happens with the password value.
Is it possible that passing the value, the plugin takes it as hashed not in plain text?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Data isn’t cached in RedisHello,
firstly I used the default DB ID that LS Cache plugin offered – that didn’t work.
Then I changed DB ID twice (-> 13 -> 4) to no avail.
Tried the same with the aforementioned plugin: data was cached in all 3 cases (DB IDs).
Kind regards,
AnzeHello,
thank you for your reply and instructions.
Errors are fixed now.

AnzeLet me just add that those 2 queries run on every visit of homepage (no extra actions).
Hello @wfpeter,
sorry for my late reply.
I’m providing some use-cases that I consider would be useful:
1. Possibility to generate Free licence via CLI command (eg. wp wordfence licence-generate –type=free –[email protected])
That would send email with free licence from Wordfence system to specified email.
2. Possibility to activate the acquired licence (eg. wp wordfence licence-activate –licence=<licence_value>)3. Possibility to update “.htaccess” with Wordfence rules on initial setup (eg. wp wordfence init-setup)
4. Possibility to run scan for malware “.htaccess” with Wordfence rules on initial setup (eg. wp wordfence scan –type=(standard, high, limited) –send-output=/path/to/file.csv) and write the results in .CSV file.
I believe that there are also other useful use-cases that would ease up our work with Wordfence.Kind regards,
Anze@yukinobu any ideas?
Dear Yukinobu,
thanks for the advice!
Wouldn’t reinstalling (uninstall & install) tamper with the site’s database?
I’d like to achieve only for the files to be overwritten with no additional implementation (eg. plugin update to newer version, database tampering, settings reset, etc).
I’m actually making a shell script that will serve for scanning “infected” WP plugins and if checksums aren’t verified, replace the current plugin dir with a fresh one.
Hope the additional information helps.
Cheers,
Jenko
