Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Admin Menu Not Functioning ProperlyI just checked in Firefox and there were no issues. The problem is with Chrome (version 45.0.2453.0 dev-m). I deleted cache on both site and browser, but it still occurs.
Thanks for your quick responses!
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Admin Menu Not Functioning ProperlyI did a little problem solving prior to asking my question. I already deactivated all plugins and change to another theme. Neither corrected the problem.
Yes, I did all of that. Problem is I can’t get any of the galleries to show on the site. Images show in the widget, but not in galleries/albums. This occurs in both the IGW and when I add shortcode.
How can I see the images in the admin section, but can’t when viewing in the gallery on site? They seems to be a disconnect…maybe when I upgraded to a recent version.
Just tried your suggestion, but both came back with images that didn’t display. All images were broken. Any other suggestions?
In playing with this a bit, all images are seen in the admin section of the site. However, when trying to view images on the front end of the site I get “no images found” OR “we cannot display this gallery”. I used the shortcode from your documentation.
[ngg_images gallery_ids=”55″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails”]
Why are my images seen on the admin section, but not on the front end?
Thanks for your help.
Also, I just tried adding a gallery to a post and it did not work. The images did show on the site. They are in the admin section when I go to manage gallery????
Not sure how this happened, but when clicking on a gallery I get to a URL that should show the images. However, it just takes you back to the homepage. An example follows: https://southside.powermediallc.org/photos-hs-softball/nggallery/hs-softball/varsity-softball-2015
All albums are set to ‘not linked’ as well. I guess the change started after updated to WordPress. We just found this issue recently, but could have occurred after the latest wordpress update. I’ve tried everything, but can’t seem to figure out how to get the galleries to show.
@photocrati Thanks for your response. I have all galleries set to “Not linked”. Not sure where to look to set the album to that, but I never linked either to a specific page.
This is a WordPress MS installations. The others are singular WP sites. I could easily upload photos again to make it work. There’s too much on the MS to do that.
I feel like I’ve tried everything. I can’t get the images to show in the gallery. I either get ‘no images were found’ OR
I see the thumbnails of each image in that gallery, but nothing when you click on a thumbnail to view the larger version of the photo. It doesn’t do anything.
Thanks again for your help
No…I’m not using the link to page option. I move the gallery into the album in the manage album section.
Plus I tried the link to page and those galleries which said ‘no images were found’ still had the same issue.
I’m using galleries.
I use post name for permalinks. Cleared the image cache, but didn’t help.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
Sure…
Here is a link to the page with all my albums listed: https://southside.powermediallc.org/photos/. You can see that the photos are there, but some do not link properly.
For example, the gallery 2010 Varsity Boys Basketball says that no images were found. The gallery above HS Girls Lacrosse shows you the images, but when clicking to see an individual image it takes you to the same page.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Strange…my albums show using that code. I give it a try. Thanks for the feedback.
