In reply to: [Ultimate Blogroll] Blogroll doesn't appear on page.I found out it is related to output buffering, not all servers handle this very well. I am currently looking for a good alternative.

In reply to: [Ultimate Blogroll] Widget in 2 SidebarsI noticed that you can only add Ultimate Blogroll once if you try it from the widgets page itself, however you can do it via the wizard (you can find the link in the plugins overview page, there will be a link wizard underneath the plugin). I have added this to my todo list! Thanks for the feedback.

In reply to: [Ultimate Blogroll] PLEASE HELP – Plugin not working properlyThe plugin used the tag <!–ultimate-blogroll–> but now uses another way. There was a problem to import older settings see here
Your issues should be resolved, unless you say otherwise. At the moment I don’t support this, but I will add it to my list.
All the issues should be fixed, unless you come at the facebook plugin (which should also be fixed, I used a prefix (Ub) to avoid name collisions). I will mark this topic as solved.

In reply to: [Ultimate Blogroll] Error on widgetmapper, line 77This issue has been fixed since version 2.4, I will close this topic and mark it as resolved unless you come back at it.
People can still add a link, yet they can also add website as their link, and it will of course accept it since it sees it as a link
Could you give me an example? In which field are you filling in what exactly? Maybe a screenshot could help.
This should be fixed since version 2.4.2, could you confirm this? I will mark this topic as resolved unless you come back at it.

In reply to: [Ultimate Blogroll] PLEASE HELP – Plugin not working properlyCould you check if it is working now? I refactored the plugin in a way that it should support your installation.
Could you give me some details?
There are 4 ways to create a blogroll page:
1) Settings page of Ultimate Blogroll
In the settings of the plugin (which you can find in the admin panel, under ultimate blogroll, you should see settings) there you can select an existing page to be your blogroll page.
2) Wizard
You can use the wizard, go to the plugins page of your wordpress installation, look for the plugin Ultimate Blogroll, there you should find a link to the wizard. From there you can select a page or create a new page.
3) Create/editing a page
When you create/edit a page you should see an admin widget in the right sidebar, you can select there that the page should be a blogroll page.
4) Upgrade
In the previous versions of Ultimate Blogroll there was an other system, I used <!–ultimate-blogroll–> but that is replaced with a new system. It should automatically import the settings.I released a new version (2.4.4) in which I improved number 4, there was a problem when importing old(er) settings. Due to wordpress using different ways of storing information during the years, it was possible for ultimate blogroll not seeing the tag (<!–ultimate-blogroll–>).

In reply to: [Ultimate Blogroll] PLEASE HELP – Plugin not working properlyYesterday I released a new version 2.4.3 which solves this issue, although I recommend you update your php. There are apparantly a lot of people who are running an unsecured server, although I shouldn’t encourage support for < php 5.3 I added support for it. My mind is blowen by the amount of people running unpatched software…
