Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’ll be happy to help.
As a first step, could you please click on “Manage Connection” Under WooCommerce > Settings > Integrations > Facebook for WooCommerce and double-check that the Messenger functionality is currently enabled in your account there?

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Oops! Something went WrongHi there @nebuleux and @hardik18882
I’m sorry to hear that you’re running into this error following the update! This error typically relates to a permission issue within your Facebook business settings.
As a starting point, I would recommend clicking the “Contact us” link in the lower-left corner to be put directly in touch with the Facebook team, who can help you sort this error out.
Could you please let me know how this goes?
Thanks,
Jennifer

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Error Message: Oops, something went wrongHi Svet,
Sorry to hear that you’re still running into issues with the current version!
You mentioned that the pixel you want to use is not available to select – currently, only Personal Ad Account pixels can be selected through the plugin setup window. Pixels created through Business Manager will not be available. Could you please confirm if the pixel that you’re looking for was created through a personal ad account or through Business Manager?
Thanks,
Jennifer

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] content_ids including SKUs – a problemHi @jesperh95 and @miguelfspinto,
I discussed this with one of our developers. The reason this has changed is related to the way that we are (and were previously) syncing products to Facebook. We were originally syncing using the API, but after moving over to syncing via a feed file, the IDs being set this way was no longer an issue, as any products not included in the feed generated at the scheduled time would be deleted from Facebook. However, as we are now back on the API method, the existing products that were changed will no longer be deleted automatically the next time the sync runs.
We have logged a ticket internally for our developers to look into this further. While I don’t have an estimated time for resolution right now, please know that our team is now aware of the issue and will be investigating making this change.
Thanks so much for reporting this! Can I help with anything else for now?
Thanks,
Jennifer

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Error Message: Oops, something went wrongHi @sveslavchev and @daviddabest,
Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’ll be happy to help.
The “Oops, something went wrong.” message is one that we have been receiving similar reports of from other users, after updating to version 2.0. The team over at Facebook is looking into this on their end, and our team is working closely with theirs to get a resolution out for this as quickly as possible. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience that this is causing!
In the meantime, you can downgrade to the previous version to get back up and running. To use the older version, please deactivate and delete the plugin, then upload and activate this version:
https://cloud.skyver.ge/yAuboD79
Because you are reverting back to the old version you will have to set up the plugin and re-connect to Facebook, so please head to WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce to set up the plugin.
Please keep an eye on the following announcement for more information on this issue and to keep updated on any new developments:

Can I help with anything else in the meantime?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] content_ids including SKUs – a problemHi @jesperh95 and @miguelfspinto,
Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’m sorry that the way the IDs are being created is causing this problem for you.
I can certainly run this issue by our engineering team so that they can look into this further and see what changes may need to be made in order to prevent duplicates from appearing in Facebook. As soon as I hear back, I will be back in touch to let you know what I find out. Thanks so much for reporting this to us!

To make sure that I correctly understand the issue, could you please confirm if you are referring to tracking this in Facebook, Google Analytics, or possibly another tracking platform? Would you also be able to send me a link to a screenshot showing what you’re seeing for tracking info on your end?

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Cannot handle connectionHello @echindik,
Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’m sorry that you’re running into this error, but I’ll be happy to help.
As a starting point, could you please tell me which version of the plugin that you’re running? Since you’re seeing the “Manage Connection” button, it sounds like you were previously connected successfully to your Facebook account – is this correct, or have you not been able to connect at all?
Thanks,
Jennifer

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Products do not SyncHi @rainrosen,
Thanks for clarifying that and sending the link. I’m afraid that grouped products are not yet fully supported, though this is on our roadmap for a future release. With that being said, I would like to get some additional details from you on how you have this product configured so that I can try provide some additional information on this for you in the meantime. Could you please send me a screenshot of how you have this grouped product configured?
Thanks,
Jennifer

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Plugin preventing saving productHi @cdcooperuk,
Jennifer here, stepping in for Simon. So sorry to hear about all of the trouble that you’ve had syncing your products!
You mentioned that some of these problems have begun since updating to version 2.0.0 – as a starting point, could you please take a look under WooCommerce > Settings > Integrations > Facebook for WooCommerce and confirm that you are still connected to Facebook? Some of our users have reported issues in being able to connect after updating, and we are working with Facebook currently on getting these resolved. If you see that your site has been disconnected, could you please try reconnecting and let me know if you are able to do so?
Thanks,
Jennifer
