You’re right. I double-checked my wp-config.php and there was a typo on the line.
Sorry for the mixup!
Good news is that I got it configured and it seemed to be working well – various ad spots were obvious rotating and not cached.
Bad news is the late initialization setting that was part of configuring W3TC for this to work added a full second to my response times. The W3TC config page clearly mentions this as a possible side effect of enabling that option, so apparently it’s expected.
Page speed is more important to me than accurate impression tracking, and I’m comfortable with the minimal rotation, so I’ll stick with cached pages.
I was able to configure my ad groups in dynamic mode and see they are rotating as expected, and the starting ad for different ad slots and different pages is randomized.
Impressive plugin! Thanks again for the help! Disappointing about the page speed impact, but I can always try again whenever I decide to upgrade my hosting plan / get a CDN / go W3TC Pro.

In reply to: [Simple Page Tester] post variation appearing as new postThanks. I was able to get around this by backdating my variation so it didn’t appear in my feed and “latest articles” on my home page, and then modifying the other components on my home page to filter out that post by postid.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] “Save” span being created? You’re right. Turns out it was the Pinterest browser extension. Removing that stopped the spans from being added.

In reply to: Editor adds phantom "save" text in FirefoxOh, I bet that’s it. I just installed the Pinterest add-on last week. And here I was going through all my WordPress plugins trying to figure it out.
Thanks so much! I’m off to uninstall Pinterest.

In reply to: Editor adds phantom "save" text in FirefoxI am seeing this same problem in WordPress 4.7.3 and Firefox 52. It’s incredibly annoying – resulting sometimes in 10 of these span tags appearing at the bottom of the post.
Anyone have any ideas?

In reply to: [Black Studio TinyMCE Widget] Unwanted span tags in editorI’m having the identical problem, very annoying.
I’m using the Tiny MCE Advanced from Andrew Ozzz. Guess I should open a support query there.

In reply to: [Top Commentators Widget] gravatars redirectingJust updated, and it’s working.
Thanks for the fix!
I’m constantly seeing this error message on my admin dashboard. It’s so annoying. I’ve searched the database tables and there’s no reference to the “missing” file.
Where is W3TC storing this list of files it thinks should be minified and why isn’t it being updated correctly? Is there a method to force it to throw away its current list and regenerate a correct, up to date one?
To think that I have time to manually manage a list of JS and CSS files to minify every time I add or update a plugin or theme is unrealistic, so switching to manual mode isn’t a viable solution.
