I think it’s best to start your own topic in the help forum and mention your website URL since this topic is closed and no one can help you if we cant’t reproduce the issue.

In reply to: [Featured Image from URL (FIFU)] Integration with Store LocatorThank you, that works ??
Hi Roee,
Thanks for you reply. I understand very well that you’re first aim is to work with the core of WordPress (posts and pages).
Yet there are a number of 3rd party plugins (for example Enfold, The7, Avada, Site Origin (free)) which are widely being used by WordPress developers.
That said it’s the question where the main “responsibility” lies for theme and plugin developers. Who wants to be compatible with who? You cannot “please them all”.
I’m not a programmer but – for example – I see that the full-screen modus of Tiny MCE doesn’t work with Avada. So both Tiny MCE and Avada produce something for WordPress, but together they (can) have their limitations. Perhaps something I have to accept that it works this way with all these plugins which are on the market today.
For the website from my tennisclub I’m working on I’ll make a testing environment. If you’d want to take a look, perhaps it’s a minor issue which quickly can be solved. I hope so ??
I just discovered Cloudinary via the “Featured Image From URL” and must say you deliver a wonderfull service!

In reply to: [Hueman] Hueman Thumbnail creation nescessary? After doing a lot of searching, I found this plugin “Stop Generating Image Sizes” that did the trick.

In reply to: [Hueman] Simple Calendar – Hueman conflictI found out that for some reason the was some function inside the functions.php file:
// Defer Javascripts // Defer jQuery Parsing using the HTML5 defer property if (!(is_admin() )) { function defer_parsing_of_js ( $url ) { if ( FALSE === strpos( $url, '.js' ) ) return $url; if ( strpos( $url, 'jquery.js' ) ) return $url; // return "$url' defer "; return "$url' defer onload='"; } add_filter( 'clean_url', 'defer_parsing_of_js', 11, 1 ); }
Which caused the JS files from the Calendar plugin not to load. The default WordPress template doesn’t have this code in it’s functions.php. So that clearifies the matter.

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] can’t move/copy to \uploadsOops, sorry, posted the wrong link. This is the correct one: https://prntscr.com/f8fi8j
by the way, the site is running on WordPress 4.7.4 / PHP 7.0.18

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] can’t move/copy to \uploadsI’m having the same issue. Plus that each time I try to move a file, I get the following message: https://prntscr.com/f37edx. The strange thing is that dispite of the error message, the file is moved after refreshing the page.

In reply to: [Hueman] Header Logo issueI haven’t configured a Custom Header Logo at the 3.1.6 site since I was in the assumption that the update would take over the data from 2.2.5, which it did (it shows the .gif at the front-end), but doesn’t show in the admin area. That’s the strange thing.

In reply to: [Hueman] Header Logo issueHi Bdbrown,
I took two screenshots:
- Option Tree in Hueman 2.2.5 with the Header Image.
- Missing Header Image in Customizer (Hueman 3.1.6) while the image is active.
Therefore I’m truly wondered where WordPress gets it’s data from at the updated site. By the way the animation .gif contains both the logo as the “action pictures”. I put them together in PhotoShop.
I’m dealing with the same issue. I have a live website: https://balletuin.nl and a “test” website: https://balletuin.multimedia-webdesign.nl, wich is an exact copy of the live version. According to Google Pagespeed the code above the fold needs to be moved to the footer.
I think the adjustment Andrew gives applies to WordPress code only and not for css and js from third party plugins. Am I correct?
My child theme’s functions.php at the test site contains Andrew’s code, but nevertheless Pagespeed claims that there’s is too much code blocking the page from running smoothly.

In reply to: [Hueman] Feature slider on front page@nixkiki, WordPress out of the box generates it’s description from it’s posts and pages and you’ll have to add your own description to your (child theme’s) header.php
I found out that there are two ways descriptions can be added:
Google: <meta name=”description” content=”Your description”>
Facebook: <meta property=”og:description” content=”Your description” />“og” stands for OpenGraph
As Alexander mentions, the SEO plugin from Yoast gives you lots of tools to get your site SEO friendly.

In reply to: [Hueman] Hueman "Fan Page"After “googling” for a suited WordPress template for my tennisclub I saw the Hueman theme and was immediately convinced that I could use it for the new layout: https://balletuin.nl
Very well documented, nice typography and the members of the club finally have the feeling to have a website that matches the character of the club.
