In reply to: WordPress Keeps Resizing My Images , Can’t Display Full SizedThat doesn’t work for me, either. What I do and tsmack might have to do is to click on the image after you’ve put it into the post and you’ll see little “handles” to then drag to resize the picture.

In reply to: Where insert Flickr Badge code?Sure! Actually what you do is just go through “the process” at the FLICKR site. They give you step by step instructions for you to set things up the way you like it and then give you the code to paste into your own site.

In reply to: Snowfall – seasonal plugin (WP 1.5.2 – WP 2.0)<bump>
Anyone? How do you install this particular plugin? I’ve uploaded all files to wp-content/plug-ins and “Activated”.
Nothing…

In reply to: Snowfall – seasonal plugin (WP 1.5.2 – WP 2.0)Pardon the newbie question, but: I downloaded and unzipped the files for this plugin to my desktop. Now what do I do?
In other words, which files get FTP’d where?
Thanks in advance.

You know what I want then, and these apparently take care of that.
Thanks!

In reply to: Statistics–what good are they, really?!Those look to be “more of the same” stats that I already have from my host at 1and1.com.
I’m SURE that of the 100 hits/day, 90+ are likely to be worthless webcrawlers–right?
So how do I get MEANINGFUL data–how do I filter out the webcrawler hits?

In reply to: Where insert Flickr Badge code?Ok–a little experimenting and that took care of it.
Thanks for all help. Feel kind of silly now that all of the changes I was trying to make was to a theme I was not even using.

In reply to: Where insert Flickr Badge code?Huge breakthrough, I think: I am using a custom theme, but the way I am changing my sidebar is by going to Dashboard/Manage/Files and then editing the Sidebar.php that shows there.
BUT THAT IS POINTING TO THE DEFAULT THEME!!! NOT MY CUSTOM THEME.
So how do I get to THAT theme’s sidebar?!

In reply to: Where insert Flickr Badge code?I have now done both of those things and still–nothing.
I see it on your blog. I do not see it on mine.
This is just mind-boggling…

In reply to: Where insert Flickr Badge code?OK. Here are the last dozen or so lines of my Sidebar.php file:
<li><?php wp_loginout(); ?></li> <li><a href="https://validator.w3.org/check/referer" title="This page validates as XHTML 1.0 Transitional">Valid <abbr title="eXtensible HyperText Markup Language">XHTML</abbr></a></li> <li><a href="https://gmpg.org/xfn/"><abbr title="XHTML Friends Network">XFN</abbr></a></li> <li><a href="https://www.ads-software.com/" title="Powered by WordPress, state-of-the-art semantic personal publishing platform.">WordPress</a></li> <?php wp_meta(); ?>
</ul> </li> </ul> </div>
<br>**This is where I inserted the Flickr code!
</div>
And when I went back to the site, there was no change.

In reply to: Where insert Flickr Badge code?Still didn’t work!
Here’s where I inserted it (latter portion of existing Sidebar code):
<li><a href="https://validator.w3.org/check/referer" title="This page validates as XHTML 1.0 Transitional">Valid XHTML</a></li>
<li><a href="https://gmpg.org/xfn/">XFN</a></li>
<li><a href="https://www.ads-software.com/" title="Powered by WordPress, state-of-the-art semantic personal publishing platform.">WordPress</a></li>
<?php wp_meta(); ?></div><br />
<br>**I inserted my Flickr badge code here!!!!
</div>
**I then went back to view the site and there was absolutely no change…
