Andrew I posted information that you asked for and had no reply from you at all regarding the issues me and other wordpress users are having with media uploads since upgrading to 4.0, but this information was ignored. Feel free to close this topic as it isn’t going anywhere fast.

To the admin here on the forums going by the name of Andrew, please don’t close this topic until a fix has been issued.

You complain when others post comments and try to help each other out but yet, when you ask for info on a certain issue you ignore it.

Sadly all the above was already in place, but thanks so much for sharing this information.

I have all but given up on a fix for this now

I have now uninstalled this plugin pending an updated version of the plugin with fixes.

Hi Guys this is a WordPress 4.0 update issue, even reverting back to a previous version doesn’t fix the problem.

I tried this plugin with the hope that it might fix the issue mentioned above, I was excited to see your plugin generate a thumbnail and thought i had found a work around, but as soon as i hit the add photo button the post just vanishes, I am more than happy to let a dev have access to my beta website so they can find the issue?

Would seem this issue has been well and truly given up on by WordPress, I have tried manual install even before coming here.

Been over a week now and still no fix for this issue, i am running out of excuses to give my website users as to why they can’t add images.

I would recommend to anyone out there that hasn’t upgraded to 4.0 NOT TO DO IT!

This is a wordpress issue and nothing to do with plugins or themes, this can be seen by the numerous users having the same issues.

Sadly this issue has still not been fixed and probably by the looks of it never will be. I have contacted my theme dev ( doesn’t matter what theme you use ) if I remove any code then the photos that are upload will no longer show up properly.

Come on WordPress get a fix out for this ASAP! We have all been waiting a long time for this!!!

Think we will be waiting a very long time!! Have tried everything my end and still no luck, are you having issues with larger files?

Andrew it is not a theme issue, i can change to any theme and still get the same issues.

I have contacted the theme dev and am fully aware of where their support forums are thank you very much.

I’m very tempted to ditch wordpress and head back to social engine ( i run a social website ) and having users complain and leave because of this issue is not helping at all

I have found uploading larger files is the problem, small images are fine but anything above a certain size, then boom media upload error.

Hosting company have checked for errors and cant find any regarding media uploads.

Have also made changes to the file size upload via php.ini and still no luck, this is definitely a wordpress 4.0 issue, that needs fixing asap, but so far this issue is falling on deaf ears

Same issue here, this isn’t a great start especially now that wordpress auto-updates when new releases come forward.

I have tried everything even contacting my hosting supplier who can’t find any error messages regarding this issue
