That’s what I would have thought too…

I’m going to continue to fart with it for a while, but I seriouslly think I’m at a loss… I’ve tried 3 different ways with CSS and 15 trillion javascripts… Yours is the closest to working though… I’m going to try yours once more just to make sure I didn’t screw up something in the implementation…

I mean it’s not like it’s mission critical, but I think would be a neat gee whiz sort of thing for those that took the time to mess around…

I guess i’m just confused as to what the problem is…

how do I get WP to keep the id in the div tag?

I’m using the subscribe2 plugin on another site and it works beautifully. Very simple. I like the admin side of MagicG’s better… if the two could be combined…

Second thing,
Is there anyway to hide all of the email addresses in the generated email? For the site I installed the plugin on it’s OK to show all of the addies in the sent email, but for some of my more public sites I don’t necessarily want to divulge that info. I know it’s possible somehow becaues GeekLog’s default mailing list can send emails site wide, but not display everyone’s addie.

If the site isn’t for a business I might think about using globedomain… I haven’t had any down time in the last 3 months, but I’m still not convinced that things are all rosy…

once again… just start with it on a host…

you’re creating about 15 thousand extra steps for yourself if what you originally posted was true…

It takes less than 5 minutes to have it up and running on a host… Having it on your own network doesn’t really serve any purpose if you’re going to “upload it to a proffesional host” later anyway.

Also… for those interested (since I’m getting some hits from this thread on my personal site). I use Geeklog at jetshack.com, I like it much better. However for sites that other people might have to mess with at some point I use WP. WP is so much simpler to explain how to use.

The site in question for this thread is https://www.phs90.com… the gallery layout is close to being finished, but not yet…. Just have to work out some width issues.

Is there any way to modify this so that the users First and Last names from their profile are displayed instead of their username?
